Am i a Tekken pro at making the best tekken tierlist? yes. but it turns out jin Kazama is the best tekken character so now i have to make a new video on all the broken tekken 8 characters aswell to let everyone know whos actually easy or hard. Stay tuned for high IQ Tekken 100%.

Im a Jin main and picked him from the very beginning. At that time I didnt know he's so strong.
But yeah youre right he's easy and strong. But still you need to use electrics once you hut Tekken King. However very cool vid and I agree to almost everything.
This was my first tekken I ever played the first person I ever picked was Claudio but I picked feng wei nd I was like “I like this guy, he got cool moves” little did I know feng was the best character in the game

I've been playing Jin jockey since tekken 6, i always preferred his approach to playing and best believe i stayed with him and leo throughout 7 all the way up to 8, he's definitely very strong although, my boy i ain't ever switching just cos they changed him for this game, jin needed these buffs to keep his top 5 status in the game and I'm all here for it i think if people wanna use more braincells to... (play a game) they should pick harder characters and use them braincells to overcome, erm *broken* characters
but nerf the heat smash, actually just take it away--
Claudio main here….I play so many Jin’s now that I just one and done them win or lose. Game is gettin mad stale atm. I don’t even bother playing ranked but I’ve yet to see actual good players. All I encounter is spam, whiff, spam, until it hits then take 80% life in a flowchart combo. And their moves are mostly plus so I just have to sit and wait for my turn 😴

Being a Claudio main, I just wait my turn then I don’t let them have anymore after. Basically just nonstop pressure and if they want to play that way I can always just wr2 and hopkick my way victory as well as using counter hit launcher to make them stay playing a bit more safe.

as a longtime jin player, he’s always been very popular and never really dropped from top 10 play rates, even throughout all of T7. jin has always been popular despite him being hard in the last game. he’s just as popular now if not a bit more, but they made the skill floor way lower than it used to be.
that being said i think it still takes some work to make jin consistent at intermediate-high level since he’s bottom 5 on winrates but i believe he’s top 3 if not the best character in the game. definitely easier but has always been popular and his online success is being overstated here

I play Jin, so i ain't much of a Saint, but sometimes i feel that against Drag and King or other characters side steping or walking isn't worth it

Every time I’ve played Reina in tekken god supreme I only see the same characters: Jin shaheen zafina Lars and lidia and I’m not sure why especially shaheen and zafina. But I think below tekken king it’s just tier whores and above is just obscure match ups (besides Jin and maybe Lars) so it’s kinda tiring. Surprisingly enough I don’t mind fighting dragunov (might be that I’ve played him since he was garbage in tekken 7 so I kinda understand his matchup a lot but he is too strong. I think the most annoying by far is Yoshi cuz he can use flash on YOUR +f

big like because of what you said about yoshimitsu, im a yoshi player and people just dont uderstand that the problem is his damage and are complaining about his gimmicks that he always had.

The only complaint i have is the flash, i am genuinely too afraid to press 90% of the time and even if i don't press i get clipped because of phantom range.
@LightWavess yoshi can't work without the flash because he doesn't have the frame pressure or tracking moves every other character has. His defense relies on flash and his spinning which draws health to do because he has one for the worst sidesteps. Take away flash and you take away his uniqueness and identity. Take away some of his damage and you have a well balanced and unique character with clear weaknesses.
@@alexdano96 they don’t need to take away flash but they need to tone down the damage that leads into flash or the range of it, in a game where aggressiveness is the name to have someone who can pit stop aggression like that makes zero to no sense, a character like Reina pretty much has to play completely different towards a yoshi because flash exists, but I will say defensive play matters and I do like the defensive play in this game but the problem flash isn’t something you do smartly it’s more of I don’t know what that character is doing let me flash, so if I could change flash I would nerf the damage.
@uzuvibe5420 Well, if you ask me, making the game aggressive directly translates to making the game more braindead with less depth and forced 50-50s, so the problem lies there, in my opinion. Also flash doesn't launch in 6 frames anymore and it's range was also nerfed back to what it was it tekken 7, which is pretty bad honestly, go in practice and try flashing the opponent while he stands still, you'll notice it doesn't really work unless he is almost pushing in your face. Only the 8 frame flash launches now and has a bit better range, but it's still 8 frames. Even tho it's fast, it's only 2 frames faster than a jab, so that's all you need to know when deciding which moves to use against yoshimitsu if you don't want to overthink your offense. For example: if you are +5, consider your 12 or 13 frame options to minimize the risk, and if you catch him enough times, he will probably stop spamming flash, or he will eventually die trying. Trust me as someone who decided to learn tekken with yoshi as my first character, I've put much thought in fundamentals even tho the character can be played as a party animal, and let me tell you even in blue ranks many yoshis I face are using streamline offense, panic buttons and flash in a way that if you pay attention to their patterns they crumble and basically kill themselves.
Copy pasta of my other comment btw but I don’t think the game is more dead at all actually I have almost 3 characters at god rank wanna get 2 more just for my main rotation, I’d say right now most tekken players do not pick characters because their Broken like at all, most people pick characters because their cool, my friend he mains king and another Alisa because they find them cool, and for people to sit here and say the gap between characters is huge is disingenuous, the gap between Nina and draganov compared to someone like Lars or Bryan or kazuya or even Steve is truly not that big, yes they do have good very good options, but so do other characters, sneak 4 needs to get toned down, and I think some chip damage on like yoshi and Alisa and kuma can get brought down, but the game in terms of 1-1 characters balance is solid, a different game where the gap is huge mk1 played a lot of it, Johnny, sindel and lmao baraka and cryax on release, that is a huge gap between a single character and another like sub zero vs Johnny cage that is a huge gap, there is no gap like that in t8 everyone has the ability to do well and compete well there is no bad character in this game, just some characters like Nina drag and yoshi has some really good tools, the game is meant for aggressive play, I break down the game to, until raijin frame traps matter the most, kishin until bushin 50/50’s and knowledge checks matter the most, tekken king and emperor and up you can get away with 50/50’s but they matter significantly and I mean significantly less it’s more punishment, movement and knowledge checks the aspect of 50/50’s are toned down a fair bit, so while yes I agree the game is aggressive it’s fun that way, it has you playing a passive aggressive defensive gameplan they made heat no track and did a couple other things that made heat well to deal with, my only true problem is chip anything besides that is a mental wall you need to climb, I did the same I hit a wall between emperor trying to get to tgs and I realized I don’t know wtf I’m doing so I started from the ground up, blaming it on busted characters and aggression will not help you, help yourself

I was a Jin main in t7 and after getting Jin to G.O.D in t8 I stopped playing him as much, because he felt so basic and lacked the skill expression he had in t7, hopefully heihachi isn’t dumb down to much

Its ALWAYS like this in EVERY fighting game. BUT the last tournament I watched (esports Tekken world cup) SO many characters were represented.

That's over half the cast and the tournament had less than 30 contenders. So I wholeheartedly DISAGREE when you say this game is only represented by the top tiers. This is the most BALANCED fighting game out now and one of the most balanced Tekkens ever! So stop worrying about Jin and Dragunov so much and pay attention to the bigger picture. Its right in our face. I had to do the same thing

I strongly feel like more videos like this should be put out so that the Tekken team can pay some attention to them. I also have a feeling if they don't do something about this, this could end in a disaster. Also where's my smooch?

We Need a new patch ASAP, people keep saying the game Is balanced, but it's not, It become basically yugioh, wait for a super plus and safe characters To take half of your Life through chip damage and only if they mess up you get your turn, even when your perfect you still might lose through cheesy strategies, it's been months since the last decent patch, at least give us 1 or 2 nerfs to those broken characters and a buff even if minor to characters that got axed by previous patches like azucena, hwoarang and devil Jin, especially Devil jin.
When yoshi combos do more damage than bryan CH combos you know there's something wrong

To be Fair, arcades are basically dead, even if they made arcades, It would've been quite a risky move, even if they use betas of the game as arcades, cause no One would play em and It would cost a lot, that's we had only the closed betas, closed betas were the arcades of t8
i used to love playing jin in seven because he was well rounded and didn't had these gimmicks and he was truly hard at the time i made till tekken god with him but wins used to feel good

The Jin hate is insane, its only right that Jin mains now get to abuse the powers others abused against us for YEARS. To be honest though he isnt as much annoying, he is more just good and allround. Calling him easy is still an overstatement considering that Alisa, Drag, Asuka, Jun, Azucena are still in the game and offer more while requiring less. At higher levels Jin is really good tho

@@GuvXIVjdcr and nobi have been drag mains since he was trash. Drag was ass in 7 🤔 you play Steve who’s the best character in 4,5, strong in 6, strong in 7, and got a lot of buffs in 8. Don’t get me wrong Steve is respectable but dragunov has been trash since his debut in most games so I don’t mind him being top 1 now (altho he should get a slight tone down on snk4)

Was akuma not top tier but people didn’t play him in tournament at all until really super akouma, tournaments mean almost little to nothing in representation to actual player engagement, me and you are not pro players, im in god ranks with multiple characters and near g.o.d but I am not no a pro player this does not apply to us, drag is good, and he is better than the other characters but the gap is not that big but pro players can utilize that because their better than us especially Pakistan, whenever I see people do this comparison it makes no sense to me, their picks and even tier lists almost means nothing to us, in the hands of arslan or atif drag could look drastically better than every other character even when he is not he’s better yes but the gap is not that big, and to normal casual to high level play like us, that doesn’t exist so don’t use tournament standings to cop out, im not saying this as a thing against you but you need to get used to tekken 8 and get better too many people complain about heat even tho its not that bad and all the 50/50’s to engage and get better and at a certain point you’ll adept and none of that will really matter anymore and you’ll get that skill you want at god ranks where for the most part 50/50’s isn’t as significant as they were in blue
