    Mango is one of favorite fruit now I have always wanted to see what woods these luthier cane come up with to make a guitar but this wood is a beautiful grain a big wow well done. The sound is not a boomy like indianrose wood but still have a beautiful voice. I think 3 grand to make your own guitar not bad considering I wonder what other woods are offered now that you have peaked my curiosity. I love Malaysian blackwood but this is beautiful, huh I wonder if Durian wood would smell it's a hard wood. ha ha thanks Jarvis well done love n peace

    Ooh, that guitar has nice tone and balance. The neck seems a bit wide, but the appearance from the wood selection is amazing.
    Would you get more 'bottom' if you used a standard set of strings (mediums)? Or, would that require a larger box? Anyway, the
    looks are incredible when matched with this sound. In another video, Jeffrey talks about using woods that would fail visually (not
    traditional) but pass in a blind-test. This Mango guitar does just that. I'm not blind, but I hear balance that isn't present in many
    other guitars. Jeffrey has truly found something out about wood that goes beyond artistry. It could be genius. Thanks.

    A prety guitar and nice sound. But mago wood is not resist to insect attacking, so you have to save this guitar very careful for long time.

      Hi I think the mango that jeffrey is using is very old wood and not a common mango specie. When this wood is coated and finish, Not a single insect can damage it.

    Thanks for sharing the video. Between the monkey pod and the mango, which wood is more suitable for strumming?

    • @TheGuitarSpaSingapore
      @TheGuitarSpaSingapore  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      James Wong hard for me to comment on that as it’s all up to the builder to bring the best out of the guitar - how the TOP is brace for the hardwood will determine that .. you could brace it tighter to give it more punch or scallop the braces to give more warmth ..
