I guess they should have left out the sport in SUV since its only in 1.5l engine, there is nothing sporty about this car except the looks

mitsubishi did great with the design, however that powertrain is very poor, they could have gone for the 4b40 1.5 turbo in the eclipse cross as an option, that would have made this vehicle amazing to drive
There is also no hybrid option, i cant see how this will compete with the Honda HRV. I dont understand the choices mitsubishi makes when picking drivetrains, its very poor.

yup it doesn't come with sunroof. It has better features in other areas.
I'll buy the Tiggo 8 Pro 1.6 Turbo in a heartbeat if I have 1.6 Million Pesos than this.

cvt and 105ps/141nm are just massive turn offs. Yikes
There is actually a 1.6L version of this engine that makes 117ps and 154nm, called the 4A92, don't know why they don't want to use this engine instead, it won't even cost them more money to make than the 1.5L since they are from the same engine design, technology and made from the same quality of materials, just certain internal parts being made differently that still cost the same to produce to increase the engine displacement by 0.1L. Then again, Indonesia has really low standards for vehicle performance, so any car designed by them is almost guaranteed to be slow and underpowered even when they have a basically no extra cost option to fit their car with a more powerful engine.
It's even less powerful than the previous gen Kia Rio 1.4 engine..

Apart from the Airtrek and Pajero 3dr.
it would have been better if they used 1.5L turbocharged engine, 105hp is a bit underpowered if you put 5 people in it.

Why not in Europe? Mitsubishi cars are reliable, rugged and reasonably priced. We are sick and tired of expensive Electric vehicles that nobody can afford and trust!
The main reason is trade. This car's manufacturing center will be in Indonesia. And there isn't any free trade agreement between our country and any european country. So that's why. If, mitsubishi sells this car to europe it'll be expensive to buy or at least be expensive untill mitsubishi decide to produce it on europe. But with the eu situation right now that lean towards electrification, it'll be hard to think that mitsubishi will produce it there. And another reason, because mitsubishi is in an alliance with renault, they won't gonna expand their vehicle lineup especially the one that are on the same segment of renault's vehicle

Actually everyone can take a test drive at giias 2023. Unfortunately this is the last day. Even i who live in Jakarta haven't got the chance to try the car itself.
