The old "beaulo peek" was q, qd,e,ae. So you leaned one way sat up straight with it but before you got all the way vert your opposite lean would snap you over to the direction you wanted to peek in the repeat to go back into cover. Ok shit was 10x harder to learn that shaiiko peeking and regular jiggle peeking

im so bad at the game that the quick peak i use is not even in the video 💀(my quick peak is so fast that i cant even see anyone and i endup dying after going inside)
good vid and I agree the classic a+d/d+a is superior. everyone wants to bust out the shaiko cause it looks cool, but the simple one is just as effective, takes nothing to learn, and is 100% consistent.

W video, props for highlighting how effective simple A+D peeking is; I see a lot of players shaiiko peek incorrectly and get killed for it, or waste time and make excess noise shaiiko peeking to clear an entire room.

My personal go to is shaiiko peeks since my lean keybinds are different.
Though when I want to get clips, I love doing stun peeking and azami peeking since its flashy and cool for videos, btw I think stuns has an impact timer similar to new grenades since when I hit it against something it seems to pop faster
I think flashes are definitely faster than grenades even tho you bounce them
Great video! I miss the knife peaks. The going prone peaks gets me because it looks like the player going down as in dead or downed.

something u should have added is that you should never peek to close to the wall. Instead peek further away since if u peek close they will see ur shoulder b4 u see them. If ur further away it minimizes the amount of shoulder and sight diffrence
It's not never, closer to the wall obstructs your vision and means you're moving after on the enemies screen and you'll be able to kill them easier if you know where they are since you don't need to see them, being further means you're easier to hit because you're moving slower but can see more since you're not facestuffing a wall.

Also, can you make a video difference between hold peek and toggle peek and which one is better.
I've been playing with hold peek for a long time, but I feel hold peek exposes a lot of body parts, even hold peek is faster than toggle peek.

That's an amazing video idea but to be honest i can't do that video cause it's realllyyyy hard for me to play on hold, I've tried it couple of times and i just can't do it so i think I'm the wrong person to compare them together
to any new sinoos viewers i just want to say that sinoos is probably if not the best one of the best siege youtubers that is there to help you get better. the only other close ones would be like ooziie and thaqil bc of the stuff you can learn watching them. but sinoos breaks it down unlike any other ranked 2.0 champs need to be watching this guy. thanks sinoos and im glad to see another new quick peek video

1. thaqils videos are him doing things siege players dont do. you learn spots for almost every gadget
you learn all the tricks like his hide under an aced wall stuff or hiding in a dark spot and waiting for all 3 ops to walk past etc. new players can take from his videos
2.its not about watching someones mechanics. its about watching and putting your own spin on it making your own playstyle and learning shit you didnt know before
3. ooziie is good to learn from just like thaqil/coconutbrah/sinoos
with ooziie you learn spawn peeks and run outs you didnt know before you learn head level spots you learn a lot of shit if you dont pick up on it then that is a brain issue of yours
as a kid you start to learn from others mistakes im quite sure that transfers into a damn video game. stop the yap ooziie and thaqil can both teach you things that you didnt know before that can help you win rounds end of story.

what fingers do I use for each peak style? its a mechanic not a skill so I understand that its muscle memory, which is my guess to why it was left out.

I mean it's really up to the player. I use ctrl for going prone and doing the prone peek. For the other peeks like shaiko, i use Q and E and personally i do it with my ring finger for A, middle finger for Q and point finger for D. Thats shaiko peek for left side

Question: Why Shaiiko peek? Or Beaulo? Isn't that pressing an extra button that's not needed? Or is that for toggle lean? I'm likely missing something.
Beaulo peek is just useless. Shaiko peek is good, especially if you want to just expose your shoulder so the enemy gets scared and shoot so you know their location

To be honest I'm not sure and i don't want to give out false information but you can test it yourself in custom game. If it looks and feels the same then it is
No, it's not. Here's what you need to understand: the fov value that you adjust in settings is only correctly representing vertical fov, not horizontal. So, values like 74 16:9 and 90 4:3 will get you the same horizontal fov, but the vertical one will be set according to a set value

Yeah I don't know man, this shit is one of the reasons I don't like siege much anymore. You see a spec of a head for a tenth of a second and then you're dead because the servers can't keep up with someone with 100 ping doing something like this.
