Let me see him do this with St. Emil with stock gun. Emil has one thing that is semi-good: its top gun. Not great, but decent. About everything else is bad. It's a slow paper TD with no camo rating worth speaking of, gun depression means little with construction that allows hitting you long before your gun goes over the ridge, open top, little ammo, and takes an eternity to upgrade. I think my only experience worse than stock Emil was stock KV-4.
Poor vacuum cleaner, that is why it has so much depression... It can't get its gun up... This tank is one of those free XP sinks that seem to pop up in tier 7.
The St. Emil is pretty interesting though; there aren't other tech tree tanks quite like it. It's definitely not a tank I would ever skip over without at the very least trying it first.
As an emil lover I have to admit the elevation sucks ass, i play it like a reverse russian tank where I'll drive up a rock and use my depression as elevation

I think I free exped the gun then grinded everything else out. Should of free exped the whole tank to get the rhm. Heard the rhm with the 150 in frontlines is a meme against pubbies lol.

The fact that I got 2 gunmarks while grinding the Borsig does not speak for people doing well in this one. I enjoyed it nonetheless with Ensk and Paris blocked.

I've run out of ammo in that tank with the big gun a few times. Got a Fadin's because of it too. I switched to the small gun and load more gold. My win rate is 57% in it. Still hated it though and was happy to get to the Rhm.
I feel the biggest issue in WoT compared to WT is that all the maps are very small and you can barely do anything actually TD like. Jagdtiger would be bomb if you could sit far far away and shoot at people..

On the right maps its great, but as you said with the big open maps its a pain in the butt due to speed. Also, what mod is your MOE tracker? That spot on the edge of K5 is "a thing" because it gives you an effective field of fire from the outer edge of the 2 line all the way to the inner edge of the 9 line, from J to E.
I love the way the gun sounds on this thing. I played through this tech tree line, and yes this vehicle is shit. But these guns feel and sound so good when you get a hit.

Console died for me a long time ago. I played WoT first on there but fully moved to PC when they started adding all that reskin nonsense. Nothing but a monetized garbage fire. Hell, they even do lootboxes (they call them "war chests") year round.

You are not the first person to climb that hill in that tank, 4 or 5 years ago i had a battle where the enemy Sturer Emil climbed the hill right in the middle of it, i laughed while watching it with my arta (was for a mission!). I also two-shot an SU-130 PM with my Borsig's 15cm, first was HE the second i'm not sure.
I just can't get past the fact that a T20 and a UDES 14 S spent the first part of the game hiding with the TDs. I'd ask what they were thinking, but I'm not sure they were thinking at all.
It’s just not a flexible vehicle but in wot you need to be able to be flexible in your play style. If camping in bushes for the whole game every game was practical then it would be fine
I honestly dont think this tank needs more shells, you hit 3 shots with this tank and its a decent game, the damage potential is not that far of other tier VII TDs and it has a good gun. It just needs a bit of mobility.

Not 100% sure but multiple ppl told me they shadow nerfed all the old prem TDs that had the camo retention upon firing like a year +/- ago, don't quote me on this but feel free to tell me if I'm right or wrong.
Actually since I have the DickerMax that Circon mentioned I can attest to the fact that it DOES indeed break camo when firing, sitting still it's camo rating (BIA, camo paint, camo net, 100% camo crew) is 51% and upon firing it drops down to just 15%. I have several other older premium TD's and they ALL break camo when you fire.
@@thewizardly1 I know this is SUPER late, but no tank in this game ever retained its FULL stationary camo when it fired. It's just that TDs used to have a special class bonus where they retained SOME of their stationary camo while firing, but they always lost some camo when firing. However, things like E25 (not sure about the other premiums) still kept that bonus camo retention after firing (camo still drops, it's just that its higher than some tech tree tanks which loses a lot more camo when firing).
490 alpha is still really good. Especially since +2/-2 mm still exists. Ruining the tier V new player expirience one shotting every tier V's except heavies and prem mediums. Nice meme WG. Btw cant wait for you to 3 mark the Leo if not done yet. My second favorite tier VII behind the KV-13

I had good games in this tank.... But they would've been better in any other tank. Only good thing about this tank is when people don't know you have a massive gun. Really had to lean into the memes to tolerate this thing
Terry Wright yes, I found it fine in comparison to the St. Emil! The only thing that has rivalled it so far is the SU-152, but that has better mobility and a meme gun.
World of tanks console is selling clan wars tanks Not directly. Technically bought with free exp but only once you convert it. so um. Either grind for 10 years or pay 60$ to convert 450k free exp. it's actually quite cheap. Compared to free exping a TT tier X. So far they have sold M60 (they also buffed it's lower plate to disgusting levels) Panzer 7 (with the 150mm gun) object 260 Object 907 (massively nerfed, they neutered its DPM to the point tier 9 light tanks can outplay you. It's sad) Side note. K-91 also got massively nerfed down to 8 second base reload. Bobject got it's too speed limited to 26kph. (Some people say it's Ballanced this way but it's not. Its not only the tank with the lowest win rate on console but also the least played. it's complete Garbage. Because your so slow people can easily track you or hit your cupola, it's speed is what makes the armor work if I'm being honest.) Oh and we have something called the machine 50B hull, Chieftain turret, and TVP 100mm autoloader. (yes it's completely broken, it accelerates faster than light tanks. And can outrun nearly all medium tanks. it Rams better than the 50m, with the disgusting autoloader. Basically if its not British it sucks ass. They added the super conquerer in. No nerfs. Straight pc port. This is important because almost every tank added in is nerfed Oh we still have 850 alpha TDs. We still have 275mm pen hesh bullshit. Yet we also have wz-113-gft with only 750 alpha. (Like what even is the point when 268 can do 850) our devs are brain dead stupid.
@@namegoeshereorhere5020 ac46 gun is the worst of t7 td, mediocre alpha with extremely long aim time and horrid bloom stats. checking out hall of fame highest scores(recent 12 months, 50+ games) emil is usually around 1.7k avg dmg(1.5-1.9k variation) mark while ac46 doesnt even hit that, ac46 is around 1.3-1.4k avg (1.1-1.6k variation). only 3 people managed to pass 1.5k avg dmg on ac46 in an entire year, while for emil alot passed 1.5k avg dmg, even per month multiple ones. ac46 is pretty much the worst played t7
@@bartbakker1996 Have you played both? I doubt it. I've played both and I can tell you the 46 is WAY better then the Emil, I actually liked the 46 when I played it and that was before it was buffed. The only reason the Emil has more damage is because it has almost 200 more alpha and I often found it did useless damage at the end of the game after your team wiped out because you can't get anywhere at 20km/h. And if stats are your thing the Emils aim time is about the same, pen is the same, reload is a lot longer, shell velocity is worse, soft stats are pretty much the same, elevation is worse, gun traverse is worse, mobility is pathetic, ammo capacity is a joke not to mention it has no premium rounds.

With the 105 mm gun on the St Emil the cammo after firing is 3.19, The Dickermax with the same gun has a cammo value of 6.2.

In real life this td destroyed a KV1 from over a mile, it's gun was lethal.

I played the St.Emil with gas. That way you can move at its top speed most of the time. It was still a pain though.

amx ac 46 is pretty much the worst t7 TD, abysmal gun, massive paper platform and not even that great mobility. emil comes 2nd worst i would say
