For me the greatest driver ever. Dont miss the special ending. Thanks for all the comments. This video still brings a tear to my eye. My tribute to a very special human being.
I was 22 and I will never forget the 1st of May 94. I never watched a F1 race after that. Every year I drive to Imola to lay down flowers on the 1st of May at Tamburello. The third first name of my son is Ayrton. Ayrton forever. I will see you again in heaven.
I was 20 when Ayrton died...saw it live on TV. Waited some time after the crash and than the news came through he was no more...I went out on my motorbike and drove for hours on end, completely lost. Never watched F1 again.
+Aline Senna Your uncle was a prodigy.. He was born to do one thing and one thing only.. He was born to make an art of racing in Formula One.. May god bless his soul.
Senna, the most driven athlete of all times, no consessions to limits his drive was to pass his own personal limit and go beyond into the twilight zone where he felt at ease with himself, totally absorbed by the moment and that is were he felt his best, that was the moment he felt alive, a thing few of us humans achieve in life yet it is our ultimate goal deep down..
Joe D!ckbutt i was also not born still he is my favourite racer same with Greg moore i was new born when he passed away and he is my fav too both are legends
I remember may1 1994. I was 22 my brother was 24 years old. Both of us following Senna and F1 for years. We cried that day and drank like crazy. We miss you Ayrton Senna the greatest F1 driver ever to live.
He was number one! It was like he became part of the car, his driving in the wet like it was a walk through the park!! To watch him race was a boost of adrenaline as you knew he was going to push the car to whatever limit it had, and then more, to keep fans jumping out of their seats in every pass he did, to win that race!! I remember the day of the fatal accident, I believe everyone thought he would get out of the car and walk away…..
This is a very good homage for Aryton Senna (I considered this #1 racing driver) and he is my idol since I watch the documentary biography, I continue watching a video📹 witch Senna.😍😍😍...
I'm not a fan of modern F1 but i would watch it all day all year if he still would have been driving, imagine what he would do with a modern F1 car, mind you, his car would be supercharged.
One of the best tributes ive seen, like the other guy said its hard to watch Senna in that willams car, if only they kept the active suspension. If only he didn't hit that wall. Best Racing driver I have ever seen, before all the modern tweeks he was just a raw talent simple as that.
I dreamed the night before his fatal accident that he would crash and die...when it happened for real the following day I couldn't believe it, I was only 12 yrs old at the time & that weekend was the 1st fatalities I saw in F1. Very sad much like the great Jim Clark's fate, both incredible racing drivers
Senna a mio parere era è sarà il pilota più forte del mondo sensa ombra di dubbio, e completo in tutto è un pilota nato talento innato , gestione del'adrenalina smisurata , inteliggenza , astuzia , pazziaaaaa allo stato puro
ISSO ERA PILOTAGEM...........ALÉM DO LIMITE........NÃO TINHA CURVA PARA ESSE CARA..........NOSSA QUE SAUDADE...........QUANDO VEJO ESSE CARA FAZENDO ISSO, HUMILHANDO OS OUTROS...........LÁGRIMAS ESCORREM......DIFICIL SEGURAR !!!!!!!
The best and most talented drivers are usually the ones that can adapt to changing conditions, Senna, Schumacher ,Giles Villeneuve, Jochan Rindt, and Jim Clark all had this. Senna in the wet conditions is what sets him apart.
Senna was Honda's samurai. He was respected as a God in Japan. Have you see how the Japanese journalists cried when he died? I believe the Honda saw in him someone who could understand their values, their culture and philosophy of racing. Soichiro Honda himself said that without racing, there is no Honda and Senna had the same spirit. He raced only to WIN and not to come second or third. I don't believe any other company could have provided him with the power and car he needed to be the absolute best version of himself. Mclaren Honda Senna was a match made in heaven and was fueled by the power of dreams.
He was the greatest, and his name was Ayrton Senna da Silva, but for us, he will always be Ayrton Senna do Brasil!! Thank you Senna, for everything!! 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Very few people are old enough to know this but Jim Clark was a superior driver to Ayrton, When his life ended with that crash he had on that day, the most wins ever in F1, the most poles, the most fastest laps, the most grand slams, the biggest win margin of any driver in F1. he was and still is the only F1driver to win a title without being in all the races, He never drove flat out because he was so far ahead he didn't want to risk breaking the car. He won in F1, he won in touring cars, he won the tasmin series, he won the Inde 500, in the winter months he entered ploughing matches with his Fordson tractor and won them too. He never asked for no1 status in the team, never asked anyone to pull over for him, never drove another driver off the track . Ayrton was the most determined and forceful driver I have ever seen but Clark was better again and in 1991 Senna said this himself.
May 1st, 1994: (I was 11) the day that my uncle and my dad stopped watching F1. When I observed this I asked them 'Hey, why?` They just looked at each other and my father said: 'It is not and it will never be the same again, kid...' I think they were just damn right

singular in a time where there were others great names in fórmula 1 such as Prost, Piquet, Mansel, Rosberg, Lauda, etc. A time where the talent was very important to win the world championship. Beyond be the best driver of all times, he also was a great human and his humility, determination, and patriotism gave joy and hope to many brazilians so tired of the misery and social inequality.
