    Yes please.
Thanks for acknowledgement of the marvellous wagon and not defaming rare jewel.

John....I absolutely love the videos when we meet the original owner! They are always unique! You showed the gentleman tremendous respect (even though his "tastes" were different)! Your parents did a GREAT job! I continue to think you are awesome in your love for these cars! If a high mileage car had new motor mounts, new flex disks, u-joints, etc. would it be as smooth as a low mileage car?

Thank you for the compliment Richard. Yeah you can make high mileage cars run really smooth if you change all those wear items. However there's definitely something special about the low mileage engines. They just feel a little different. Don't get me wrong my daily driver has 230,000 miles on it and it runs pretty damn smooth. But nothing feels like a fresh low mileage engine.

Love these stories and in my view the 83 and 84 diesels were the BEST that Mercedes ever made

Absolutely I agree! My favorite year is 1983.

The stories behind these cars are almost as good as the cars themselves.

I just purchased a 16,000 mile 300D and couldn't agree more about the low mileage cars. There are so many physical analogue integrations with the OM617 engine alone (injection pump, fuel injectors, turbocharger, exhaust system) and they were so well balanced from the factory that it must be incredibly challenging to replicate with a freshening or a complete rebuild.

Hey I think I'm familiar with the car that you just bought I saw it listed on Craigslist I think the car was from California and they had brought it over to the east coast if I remember correctly. Email me pictures! My email address is on the website woodsandbarclay.com

Another nice find! I think the bumper guards were standard.

John, do you still have the chrome bundts? I'm looking for a set.

Yes I have a set of Chrome Bundt but unfortunately I need to save them for customer cars.

    Omg she is beautiful 😍
Typical in Holland, if you see a car with the chrome fender covers? Means rust. A lot of people use the fender covers to covers up the rust 🙈.
Factory original is the best 👌

You need to watch the detail video it shows the car completely detailed with the Chrome fender lips removed and it's perfect condition. This is a Southern California and Arizona car. This is probably the most rust free car you will ever see ;)

Is that W210 your daily? Exactly the same interior as mine

Yeah I was able to pick up a 99 e300 for really cheap and I've been using it as my daily :)
