FYI , it’s not the gear down that puts you out of deep stall . This is TEF down, (which is achieved by gear down in your case ;) . Best is to use MPO , it’s quicker recovery. And the TEF down Will it work in some fuel configuration or spin stall
the clouds are basically flat pictures to help with performance and graphics also the games older so the cloud pictures face you at all time but they can seem unrealistic sometimes because of that
im late af with this response, but you're suppose to switch the Manual Override switch located by the throttle. This is part of the HARTs training. How to recover in a deep stall.
Hi Nice work. I'm having trouble recording BMS in VR. I've been using shadowplay generally on my channel. My alignment always looks to high. The steam reset still leaves me in a good position in vr but the screen recording is at the top ofcthe hud. Any help appreciated. Great vid
This is gonna differ from person to person, but even though the graphics are quite aged, i get fully immersed in falcon BMS VR. Your brain can kinda fill in the gaps of the shitty graphics and fully immerse it's self
Well immersion is very good imo, I felt the best speed sensation ever with VR but of course there's not same eye candy than in DCS... but at least it runs on slower rigs and BMS is way beyond speaking of avionics and flight model ;) so just give it a try !!
Its like you really ill be there! And can not be explained in words, until you use it... Everything in real size 1:1 scale and ALL WITH 3D EFFECT! OMG.
@@hook86 I actually ended up installing it and boy does it have a high frame rate running it is definitely no hiccups at all but yeah you can definitely tell the graphical difference between that and dcs. Night and day
I have a Reverb 1 and i7 + 2080, and BMS VR in 4K runs smoothly with high FPS (no lacks at all). When I run DCS in comparison it stutters as it would be a Pentium 1 from 1993.
I have a 3700x, 16gddr4 3200mhz, 3060 and a Rift s. How is it that your cockpit is so clear? Mine is okay but not as clear as yours. Maybe the Rift S ?
What are u using for steering? Since quest 2 controllers are not supported there is only one options for me. Wired x360 controller and keyboard. I do not have any special flight controllers. Is there any point to bought one cheaper thrustmaster or Logitech just for this game? Cause I am not playing ms flight sim x plane or dcs because my pc is to wrak to Play it on VR.
All depends on how much use your going to get from a Hotas or Joystick. If your seriously going to put alot of time and effort into playing flight sims, then your better off getting a decent HOTAs from the get go, if it's just to play the occasion time and maybe use for space sims and such, you can't go wrong with the Thrustmaster T-160000M which can be picked up quite cheaply for a stick and throttle combo or a VKB Gladiator NXT (though this is stick only with a lever on base to use as throttle).
Falcon BMS is the Dark Web of combat sim.
I like how you can see the nose through the HUD, and more like you're sitting on the plane than deep inside it.
I love being deep inside

Why are the clouds rotating?!
They are 2D clouds, just like DCS use to have. In DCS with the regular clouds you could roll your head and they would do the same.

Match stick to stall oscillation for stall recovery.

trim override for deep stall recovery then nose down
Looks better than dcs
Lmfao you left your eye doctor on "read"
How did you get your VR to record that close? Everytime I try to record the view is from all the way back, MFD's and hud everything is so small.
BMS runs buttery but FPS randomly drops with cabled quest 2. Please help
Headset setup? Thanks! - Doc
what are the settings and how many fps do you do?
those clouds in vr are a shame =/ . besides that, great game
You don't notice them at all during level flight, though.
Agree! ... A true shame for the price paid!
@@Dee-JayAh yes, the steep price of 5 euros.
@@Dee-Jayeven for free, it would be to much expensive …

What VR headset do you have? And why are you so far to the right? Lol
I tried vr but it didn’t work .
Wonder how this would look in my crystal.. 🤔
Shitty, as it looks on everything lol. Maybe 4.38 will make it a little more bearable to look at

Thanks gents
GTX 1080 5600X 64@3600 get me a stable 72 fps on the quest 2

why can't you see your hud? You seem kinda to the right from center
the recording source might have been the right eye only

Wonder if volumetric clouds would ever be added... These sprites....ew
