Amazing tour. These guys are genuine Hot Rodders from bygone era. Years of collecting they have become custodians of their craft. Thanks for you & Brent taking us on this adventure. Billy J.... Queensland, Australia.

So cool!!!
You got to love old guys like John and Bert they sure do how to live their retirement years.
Awesome 👍
Living the dream man! That is all a guy needs right there. Cool toys
Wow a gold mine just sitting there. Great to see Brent and Karl hanging out together doing boys stuff. Thanks for sharing Karl. Take care.
I think John realizes it might be time to part with some stuff and I hope they start passing some of their passion to the younger generations that still appreciate the old stuff..thx for the tour
Been buying little stuff from Bert 'n Ernie for years. Great guys.
I just wish my yard was that big; let alone stacked with all that vintage tin!
Thanks for the walkabout.
Any Hotrodders dream is being lived out by these guys...can you imagine the catalogue of stuff they have...Priceless way to retire and live your life, doing what you passionate about till your last days
Karl - if you ever decide to do up an old Chris-Craft boat, I'd be happy to help any way we can. They're really not as scary or expensive to build as people think and have some really crazy engine etc! We have a small family business out in Kelowna restoring them for 35+ years. Next time you're in the Okanagan stop on by and i'll give you a tour.
Awesome, what a great way to spend “retirement” 🤗
Karl, look up iron trap garage. Guy matt has boat loads of carbs and early ford parts.
Try to imagine for a moment a custom car made from that beautiful Chris Craft boat that will likely never see the water again.
Reminds me of an adult easter egg hunt.
I think I heard the sound of "a new motor" for the ramp truck :)
Crazy amount of cool.
Great Collection. ❤

When these guys are gone, it will be like Raiders of the Lost Ark to find this stuff.
Couple guys down south are old version hemi sources.
Yes Sir !!!
👍👍👍👍
When will we see the Japanese Tripp???
All this important sheet metal stored outside rusting away back to the earth. All the important parts stored inside, which is much better. All the men seeing this video say, oh John and Bert are such geniuses keeping all this stuff. What a help to the hobby! I say no! They have more stuff then they’ll ever use, ever! They are both older gents and soon will be taken by some significant medical condition. Their wifes will call in the mobile crushers and bada bing, no more collection. All those crushed and recycled car parts will come back from China as bbq forks and metal garden hose hangars. I’ve seen this exact scenario play out twice in my recent past. John and Bert should actively start moving these parts into the hobby, if they are true car guys. Please, I know this is not pleasant to read yet it is exactly what happens.
You read my mind, people sneer at fibre glass bodies but that's what we have to do because of hoards like this all over the country held by people who'll never get to it
How do you know that their wives aren’t car girls that know what the stuff is worth.
Growing up in Saskatchewan stuff like thar just doesn't rust, it will have a rust like look to it but nothing past the surface from. Sitting out in the environment. Definitely not like Southern Ontario where I now live.
I’m first today hosers
I do Holley EFI for a living if they need some help with those dual Snipers. Email in my about section.
Man there was so much history in Bert and John's shop when I had my bodyshop I leased the building and there was a efficiency apartment built on it and I could walk out the kitchen into the shop or the living room also my spray booth was separate from. The shop and it had a fence around with enough room to store around 24 cars without having to move anything to get in and out of the spray booth so I rented the yard to a friend that 0wned a wrecker service and so I had to only pay about 1/3 of what the monthly rent was.grrag vǰdeo
