Also for those who want to do this mask technique with Ben Reiley or another mask with this style, make sure you get the same color of foam as your spandex mask. Like red foam for red mask. Because if it were normal black, you could see it through the mesh, so remember that. Edit: AlSO, I suggest spraying the foam frames with plasti-dip to make them more sturdy, if you have a color that doesnt come in plasti-dip, just use normal black and THEN spray paint the foam with the color you need. i’ve tried gluing mesh straight onto the mask. it was for a short lived mask but i didnt have many issues. only issue was how stiff the mesh was but that’s an issue w most masks update, i made another mask with no rims on the lenses by gluing the mesh straight onto the mask, and worked perfectly fine
I actually made my own when I was inspired by your costume making but, instead of drawing the logo on, I decided to use craft foam and cut it out in the shape of the logo. It actually turned out amazing. Anyways thanks for inspiring me to start making my own costumes

I plan on making a home made spidey suit with stuff from Amazon and I found custom spidey lenses which is good for me cuz I was gonna use sports glasses for lenses
personally i found getting caught in the middle of a secret war and finding an alien suit in the midst of the chaos was a bit easier though that's just me

So the gan mesh i got both sides are black should I spray paint it before or after making the lenses?
@@J-V89 spray the fan mesh white only on one side (the side that is shaped like an arch) and the foam frames spray with the plasti dip
