In my own opinion, Jonny has the best vocals in Post hardcore genre. 1. Jonny 2. 3. Everyone comes in 3rd because no one else comes close to Jonny Craig.
Honest to God, the entire DBMII album is top-tier. I can turn that thing on, have it loop the whole album, and go by half the day never getting bored or wanting to listen to something else. I'm still a way bigger fan of Tilian's albums in the DGD discography, but this album is easily one of my favorites just because it is a good, high-quality ride, all the way through.
Hey Dan you must investigate how to make the TH-cam algorithm work for you. I don't know how but I see smaller channels appear before yours even if I'm subscribed to you. Maybe it has to do with # or keywords? I also watched Richopov mention the importance of shorts if you wanna grow faster because TH-cam like shorts nowadays. You are such a cool and, seems like a wholesome, down to earth kinda guy that clearly deserves a bigger stage. Much love to you and your work. I also have noticed you mention "the main channel" sometimes. What is that called because I can't find it😢
I seen tillian when he first started out singing back up for jonny and absolutely butchering it man like seriously. but his voice has really improved due to his effort so props to him man but still yeah jonny has that natural talent.
React to Priviously Poncheezied next! (DBM2) One of the strongest choruses in the band's history, and that's saying something. I agree, this album is the apex of Jonny's career. Only way it could've been better was if Jon stopped trying to steal the spotlight and let Jonny do his thing more. I'm sure all of us fans have experienced playing Blue Dream for someone who's never heard of DGD and watching them like it up until Jon enters the mix and goes at it a bit too long. The screaming should add to the song, not act as a crutch or filler. Still my favorite band tho, and I doubt that'll change anytime soon! (unless Tilian overstays his welcome)
I used to feel the way you guys do, but I've really come to appreciate Jon's contribution to each song and now I look forward to his parts same as any other.
I had the cheese piece shirt from the pre order. This an emarosa self titled will be his peak.each generation was different. Carl Barker and Alex English all day with Kurt Travis. Inspire the liars and acceptance speech. Honestly, mothership and before is all peak dgd. I just haven't liked the last few cds, but they put out certain songs that will get me as singles. Tilians old band, tides of man, is good. All of Kurt Travis projects were really good (a lot like birds, eternity forever, and royal coda mainly). Jonny knows how to start a good band, kick him out, and become a better band. Dgd, emarosa, and slaves all did it. Slaves got the shaft with being later in the scene, but their most recent releases are good
behind the curtain of seemingly random words taken out of a lexicon, lies some deep traumatising stories and shit you wouldnt want to relate to. but you wont realise until that one day you relisten to the same track for the 1000th time and suddenly the messy words form context from your own experience. YDG?
Their 3 albums with Johnny are flawless. Dbm2 is fucking amazing
This is one of my all time favorites
GOATd album/song
such a good song. Jonny's vocals on the Emarosa album is my favorite Jonny . so much emotion in it
In my own opinion, Jonny has the best vocals in Post hardcore genre.
1. Jonny
2.
3. Everyone comes in 3rd because no one else comes close to Jonny Craig.
Glad you enjoyed this one! You always have a lot to say about a song and it’s all entertaining my man, appreciate the reaction 🤘
Peak DGD. They're okay with Tillian but the JC era was on another level.
Such an underrated dgd track
The fact that I still listen to this album to this day, and still get goosebumps says a lot about the talent in this band during this era.
i teared up watching this, his vocals are angelic and its nice watching someone else admire it too
Look up Jon's lyrics at the end. Perfect
Honestly one of my favorite DGD songs, jonny craig is magical on this.
Jonny Craig has a new solo EP called Still Searching out now. Youd love it. Would love to see you react to one of the songs.

One of my FOAT. Jonnys vocals are insane

Facts
DBMII was definitely peak Jonny (and peak DGD imho.)
I think Emarosa his peak Jonny but I agree with what you’re saying about just let Jonny sing
Tillian is good real good BUT has nothing on Jonny the end
I seen tillian when he first started out singing back up for jonny and absolutely butchering it man like seriously. but his voice has really improved due to his effort so props to him man but still yeah jonny has that natural talent.
@@MAGICCOFFEY not to mention it’s way too high
Sounds obnoxious
All their singers have been crazy good but in their own unique way imho

Completely agree, sometimes Jon’s parts are a tad bit too long even for an experienced listener such as myself lol

Jonnys best vocals are definitely in the emarosa era imo

Jonny Craig is my favorite, but Turn Off the Lights I'm Watching Back to the Future Pt. 2 w/ Tilian is godly
