47:39 Great explanation the pizza stone! I remember during the infamous "Snowtober back in 2011, we lost power for over a week. We would cycle the gas stove from time to time for supplemental heat. I vividly remember putting the pizza stones in the oven so it would stay warmer longer before having to cycle back on again.
“Lidia” has an awesome recipe for “Baked Fennel with Sage”! Love her cookbooks❣️ My favorite pasta salad dish is with Cheese Tortellini and fusili, thick sliced sticks of Genoa Salami and Mortadella, Mozzarella balls, sliced red onions, English cucumber, cherry tomatoes (halved) , Kalamata olives, pepperoncinis and your favorite Italian homemade dressing. Yummy! 😋 Jim…orange slices, olive oil and black pepper 😊 🐣 Happy Easter!🐰 💜 Tara…”the best thing about this is the glass jar”!!!!😂🤣
A former grocery chain in the Chicago area (RIP Dominicks) used to have a deli salad with cheese-filled spinach tortellini, peas, and prosciutto. IIRC it was dressed in a light vinaigrette. It was delicious! It'd be very easy to replicate at home.
Pork tenderloin stuffed with spinach, fresh mozzarella, and sundried tomatoes is one of my Spring favorites. Small Mason jars are great for individual desserts. Panzanella salad is a favorite of ours. Jim, we're all thinking about the asparagus issue now 😂
One Tree Hill and Dawsons Creek was filmed where I live! Never watched the show though very popular with the younger audience 😊Sammy needs to visit Wilmington NC! Enjoy the podcast
Tara does have a great voice. Perfect for podcasts. One thing I have been trying to find that you have mentioned was a semolina Italian bread. We have a state full of Italian bakeries (RI) but none have the bread you said was your favorite. Is there a different way to describe that bread?
The bread looks the same as regular flour Italian bread but the inside is yellowish instead of white. Places here sell it in regular and braided style.
Jim/Tara I know the kids aren't big fans of being on camera, but I think it would be interesting to hear their thoughts on various topics if their open to the idea.
Add Taste Tests for deli products from #UncleGiuseppes Marketplace. They opened on LI after I moved to LA in the late 1990s. #PasqualeSciarappa in NJ would be a fun guest. He will give you a run for your money in the kitchen.
I am beginning to like this podcast so much that I think that it should be longer. Just as I am getting into it, it ends and that is always disappointing.

You guys are so entertaining. And Tara's voice would be excellent for ASMR.
Great episode. Luv Y'alls chemistry & vibe. Would be cool to see a 430 - related episode about good munchies food. Just an idea 🤠

Paglia e Fieno is a springtime pasta dish my mom and grandmother would often make.
Plz do a Greek goddess salad & dressing recipe video & a beer cheese soup recipe video 🤠

I love your podcasts. You guys are so informative!
Another well enjoyed podcast. Thank you for the reply on the leg of lamb on your last podcast.
My favorite part about this podcast is when they just go off about random stuff that has nothing to do with food. Don't sleep on that angle.
Lol. I can do that all day.
@@SipandFeastPodcast As you should.
thanks for the podcast. I enjoyed watching and listening to your spring dish recomendations as well as the review on the Tiramisu test.
It would be great if you could add links to the dishes/recipes mentioned in your podcast. I hope to make several you mentioned !
The show notes are right in the video desciption. All of the recipe links and info can be found there.
Thanks, makes sense! You guys rock!!

@@SipandFeastPodcast Thanks, I’ll continue to look for that type of bread
What is it called? Would love to know. I must have missed it mentioned here.
@@maries1381 it was on a previous video of a recipe, don’t recall which video

Fawty-Faw Ma'Capone HaHa
I wonder if soaking each slice of the Balconi Tiramisu in cold espresso would kick it up a few levels.

As long as Jim stocks up on “vino”! 🍷🍷🍷
I'm in LA also from NYC originally. Do you have a favorite Italian deli here in LA?
I think Valley Market Place has Italian Products including this Tiramasu. I have two Italian Deli's in my town, but don't go there.
