Unlike other boxing games that have been out, you need to use footwork and angles. Along with timing. No other boxing game has put that much depth into their design. And if they have, they’ve lacked in other departments like graphics. This game truly has it all. And we all know it’s early for this game so idk why everyone says it’s trash. That’s like trying to skateboard for two weeks and then calling it trash because you aren’t good. It’s just takes practice. As everything does. This games bugs may hold you back but not significantly. Not if you really know how to play and box. Try it bud 💯👍.
I see ppl saying the game is slow or like slow motion punching. One thing I think they did it like in FN games where when you miss a punch the next one is slow to throw as you recover and reset from missing, and when you land one you can throw consecutive ones faster. Also, try to stop moving the LS when you’re ready to throw a punch especially jabs unless you’re trying to do a step in one or step back jab. The side step jabs are slower but actually realistic in with how a boxer would throw it irl.
Yeah missing in boxing is bad for stamina and accuracy and in general bad for your score you need to step back and reset don't throw unless it's 💯 hitting especially power shots you'll get knocked out this is real life knowledge 🤣

They gotta add Mike tyson I replicated someone else's character to make him realistic with peek a boo and it's one of the few style where both hook animations look good and doesn't make your rear hook a shitty shovel hook that barely lands, used him in intermediate career mode and retired 92-0 (89 ko)

Man this is how I want to fight when I play the game so wocky it’s hard to consistently fight like this punches go through blocks half the time and ghost punches you get hit by the air🤦🏾♂️and flash KOs happen to often and counters don’t do enough damage if I counter you while you’re punching it should stop your punch animation I shouldn’t get dropped when I perfectly counter it’s like they don’t reward IQ great KO by the way
