Ciao tutti! Mom & dad and all my aunts & uncles are from Sicily. They emigrated to the U.S. in the early 1970s. I love my heritage. Whenever I hear music of my family, I can instantly smell the espresso pot on the stove. Mamma called it the "Sicilian potpourri ". I need to make the trip to the motherland to visit my extended family members who are still there.
When in Sicily, you can feel, how your spirit are being liftet, and the smile grows on your face. The sight of the Island from the plane, gives you the chills, because you know, there´s adventures waiting for you. Food, that you can´t resist. Wine so tasty, that one glass aren´t enough. The smiles from the Sicilians makes you return the gesture, and you feel the connection, even you don´t speak the same language - but it´s enough you speak the same language of the heart.The view from a platform in a mountain makes you wonder, how something so beautiful can be possible. The sun creates a vision of diamond sparkling in the sapphireblue ocean. In the evening you go to a ristorante, where you are welcomed as a very important person, and you feel the special Sicilian warmth - something you´ll meet everywhere you go, if you are openhearted. When your vacation ends, you don´t say "Goodbye" - you are using the Italian phrase: "Arri vederci" = "See you! We´ll meet again"

La Sicile dans les villages il y a des costume différents et très colorer et aussi de la cuisine différente et chaque province aussi très diverses et très bonne la cuisine est la meilleur qui est reconnu par tous le monde
