That's because the person filming it was in a good angle, they were right in front of the stage. People who were further unfortunately could see the problem in using this type of screen...

@@lemoncohen honestly, when the lights were all off the screen looked like it was part of the stage. The irony is the lights enhance the concert but also enhanced the fact it is a screen.

as someone who's worked with LED walls, they're a bit more involved than a tv screen. lowkey, it's actually more expensive to rent out the LED panels and build the wall...
and it has better brightness than a hologram (though visibility from off-angles is worse)...

It is probably Crunchyroll "cutting cost" the giant tv was probably cheaper to move around than the hologram tech.
