The 14th edition of Tata Literature Live! The Mumbai LitFest is here. The Festival will start with its online edition on 25th & 26th October and will take place on ground from 27th to 29th October at the NCPA (Nariman Point), St Pauls Institute of Communication Education and Title Waves bookstore (Bandra).
Tata Literature Live! 2022: Without farmers the world starves. It’s a simple, plain truth that most of us ignore as we’re seduced by the dazzling lights of supermarkets and the choices of fresh markets. But globally there is a crisis in farming, and in India too we witnessed massive farmer protests in 2020. The issues are many and complex, including benefits to multinationals, often unfair farm policies, a loss of genetic diversity and dwindling water stocks. What role do consumers play in exacerbating the situation and how can they support farmers in re-taking control of their lands and lives?
