X14 does not support HDR in 4k 60fps but the iPhone does. This is why its camera is actually worse. @@9e641 Hey guys. It has been a rough period for me with this phone. The specs, form factor, flat screen, ok camera (not a photo/video guy) fast charger included and an ok.ish price (~730 euros) compelled me to buy it. Yesterday I did the following things: charged the phone to 90% baked the tiny silica gel spheres in the oven ( 90 minutes at ~ 130⁰ Celsius) and let them cool down put the silica in a plastic food box that you can close with a lid that has a gasket strated filming 4k 60fps for 10 minutes, 2 times in a row while the phone was in the silica with the sin tray removed and the box lid closed after that I immediately I connected the sim tray opening to the vacuum cleaner ( which I partially sealed with tape and left only a small hole ) and by using my fingers to have an ok.ish seal and with max power I kept the phone there for about 5-7 minutes while it partially cooled down then again 4k 60fps for 10 minutes × 2, in the silica with the lid closed, getting it hot then again vacuuming for aprox 5-7 minutes while moving the position of my hands/fingers to get a proper.ish seal then again filming then again vacuuming and last time filming, getting it hot, switching off the phone and leaving it in the box with the lid on until tonight.... .... when after getting the phone out of the silica, quickly putting the sim tray back, switching it on and then filming 8k for 5 minutes in a.c. 16⁰C full blast 2 cm away from the phone....no more foggy lens. Will it last? I don't know. Hopefully yes and hopefully I've helped someone with my story. Take care.
