It is thrilling to see that all or most of the original Cinerama films have finally been located are being digitized and shown in various theaters and some are actually out on DVD and Blue Ray discs. I remember seeing all these films with my parents when I was a boy, and how much they influenced my wanting to see so much of the world beyond where I lived. Dimitri Tiomkin's scores were wonderful! Thanks for posting.

This is my all time favorite film score. I had this mono LP when the film came out and played it to death. I spent years (pre internet days) trying to find a stereo version only to eventually find out it was only released in mono. Elmer Bernstein did a recording, in stereo, in the 70s which is good but not quite up to the original.
Thanks for sharing! Hope someone will eventually re-record this classic score.

Une œuvre assez surprenante de ce bon Dimitri Tiomkin. Pour une question quizz, elle en ferait souffrir plus d'un même parmi les mélo-cinéphiles.

We saw "Search For Paradise" in the late 50's or early 60's? Loved the theme music and was struck by Lowell Thomas comment about pendlng war and communist takeover of Paradise that would be soon gone and lost.

This score sounds better in stereo. Was these picture recovered visual script for the Movie .Was this recovered before or after restoration? I heard the mono version in an extant horrid squash print ,a clip and did not sound good
