I was sleeping in my parents boat for the night.a tidal surge came up the Delaware River and the bilge pump didn't work.the boat was halfway full of water when I woke up.i can't tell you how scared I was when I got out of bed and stepped into thigh high water in the dark.i still haven't slept on a boat and that was well over 20 years ago.
