finally someone who runs a non burble tune. I much prefer raw engine sound with a little bit of natural overrun.
I fucking know right. Dying breed of modded bmw's without a popcorn tune.
@@greaser3069 yeah the amount of burble on M cars from factory(whether it’s more or less depending on the car) feels just right for the car. Sounds more like natural over run than dumping fuel into the exhaust so you can piss your neighbors off.
I don’t run pops and bangs it’s annoying in my option. Lol

I have essentially the same car and set up. Stage 2 PureTurbo forged internals JB4. 760whp with no burble and it sounds amazing. I think the burble is for F boys

I like this man’s philosophy. Achieving max power without having to piss around with race fuel and ethanol. No ridiculous pops and bangs that seem to be present on every tuned fiesta and golf. Nothing to prove, car speaks for itself.

@@RichLion yeah but no one is going to bother getting race fuel or ethanol so its going to run on pump fuel. That makes the claimed power with race fuel pointless doesnt it.

literally every tuned F1X owner I know has been through multiple engines lol. I swear they have lamborghini money but they choose to just drop a fresh s63 in their bmw and put even more aggressive tune on it each time I fucking love it lmao.

Upgrade ur rear diff brace with a billet one. No more risk of snapping axles or diff. Makes the car feel more sturdy, too. Love mine.

@@aamar1987 Great combo. Lastly, be sure that the brace comes w a new bushing & doesn’t require u to pull the factory bushing out of ur brace. Mine came w a delrin bushing for example.
I wish you guys were in the U.S. so you could work on mine.

@@PoorlyUtilized No I actually got a 2014 in 2015. Had just under 20k miles on it. I have 60k now. All I replace was the fuel pump and the A/C compressor had a leak so they were replaced under warranty. And I have a stage 2 Dinan tune. Nothing but fun.

I built the sickest 2013 F30 you ever seen, full bolt on, but I kept the stock turbo pushing just over 400HP. Eventually I would of maybe did turbos but would have fixed the timing guides first and did the upgrade on those, only flaw with the N20/N26.
Nothing wrong with those turbos bro run them! Definitely upgrade the intercooler if havnt already. I'm sure you have.

Wish I could post a pick of my F30 build im sure you would appreciate it, it's nothing compared to this but at 400HP and a 4cyl and full racing coil overs I still take stock a lot of muscle cars mostly because they can't handle the turns. Have a S turn I come out of at 130 mph stuck to road. Continental tires omg they are simply the best!

I stopped at a simple 93 tune on my M6. The thing is almost undriveable as it is, didn't see the point in going farther.

Trouble with tuning these cars is that they just can't get the traction. I had a f10 M5 only running 680bhp and I just couldn't use it. It actually spoilt the car
I struggle to see the point of the power at that point. Usability is pretty much everything
@@TomWxm personally I wouldn't of tuned it but it was already like that when I bought.
My M6 was running 680bhp 840nm and I put 295 MPS4S on the rears and I can honestly say traction was fantastic 🤷🏼♂️👍🏻
@@bootneck401664 I had p4s on my m5 f10 at it was horrendous but it was cold time of year.
@@DaleSteel TBF I’ve always found that traction in the M6 especially in MDM is incredible over the F10, F80, and F82 that I’ve had so I guess the software in the M diff has some influence too.

hey, i have a f13 M6, i just did a stage one tuned with Carbahn Autoworks from california, and not too long after i ve been driving with it, and the drivetrain malfunction popped up, which never happened before, So, i brought it to the shop that did the tune for me, they diagnosed it and said it was the O2 sensors, i replaced them all and today, i floored the gas, it was like the third gear, and the rpm goes to like 7--9000rpms and guess what, the drivetrain malfunction popped up again. seriously, that was heart breaking bro, I JUST NEED SOME HELP/ advises. I M SOOO frustrated by this malfunction brua.
