Selling alcohol at schools - do adults hear themselves? What have we as a society come to? And in South Africa alcohol addiction is a major issue! I just don't understand how anyone is okay with this?
Instead of criminalizing the parents and the schools!! Government should take a look at their own mistakes. Why are most schools in certain areas closed? Why not open better schools with qualified teachers in all areas. One school has 170 learners in a class 😮! Open schools so that grade 1 learners don't have to travel kilometers away from home to get an education 😢 it's not safe!! Maybe a law should be passed that all Gocerment officials kids and families kids must go to government school!! Maybe then things will improve! Instead of killing what's left of the education system 😓😓😓
There are lots of things that can be done for fundraising. Learning and consuming of alcohol are contridicting. Then kids can rather stay at home. They can already not read or write. Their behaviour at school with teachers stinks. So alcohol will help?
The BELA BILLs to be rethought... redrafted... 😢 It is not good for our South Africa. It is not good for our children. We want South African schools to be better for the children.... please don't implement this bill
It's already concluded. The bill has rights own rights too. We are doomed.

If i keep my child at home it is a crimenal offence, what if their is no space for children in overfull sckools, wil that also be a crimenal offense against the so called government???????
Can’t discriminate on language? I can see how this will be used to attack Afrikaans schools while English only schools that are by definition also discriminatory by being English only will be allowed.
Afrikaans is the language enforced on all Africans for centuries. English is a common language for the whole world. Even though both have a colonial past, Afrikaans is not needed in major areas whereas english is

To the contrary they have done us the citizens a great Dishonor. Has any of our presidents since 1994 come into parliament or addressed the nation in high heels?
