Haunting and deep as can be, depicting the theme perfectly!! ^.^ Amazing collab! I love that atmosphere and all those dark sounds coming in, and those ghostly melodies, reflecting Lightning's feelings! Well done both of you :)
mhh yeah thanks, this song was going to land in the trash originally btw. i started with the bass and i usually dont. its harder for me to build a song starting with the bass. the reason i started with the bass is because of edit - centre suit. couldnt get the bassline out of my head (you sure hear it lmao). but sky saved it with some ideas.
My story was originally going to be a cheap story that almost didn't get it started too. The spin off, A Mile Through her Eyes, was the original concept before the muse descended and gave me the main story. I was kinda sad there wasn't words, but that passed when I felt the instruments come together.
It's honestly bliss whenever I see a collab of you two appear! There is definitely always that enrichment of ideas & blend of styles that make way for each other in a way that create that really appealing experience which you can't help but be fully involved into while listening. The atmosphere within the track & how that all comes together with the fx & just how they're scattered really comes in play when you're listening to this as also just the experience that you have through this journey is heightened by the lovely fx & the drums that really make this pull forward with the punch as also impact that is well delivered & just the hauntingly reverb synths that play in. But the kick in here in blend with the sub is seamless & just the fill ins with the drum pattern too & the drum breaks. Really wonderful, wonderful job you two
