The content is amazing but the editing is so underrated, daaaaaaaamn! Am I the only one that noticed the clean transition from putting the wheels in for pre-bake to taking them out? Almost couldn’t tell it was two different clips. Craaaaaazy
I don't know if this issue still occurs on the FK8 but on the previous version of the Type R (FK2) when washing the engine bay, water got down to the ignition coils and the engine started misfiring, just something to look out for. Love the amount of Type R's you have on the channel. 😍

Thank God you went with the type r instead of the Macan. The modern v6’s in the Porsche SUV’s are known for leaking oil through the timing cover. I seen a few that leaked for so long that the engines went and the repair at the dealers were 12k. 🤦🏻♂️

@@Dailyshart Im sure it will... And it should.. It is a V8 that comes stock with more than double the HP and triple the Torque of my engine... Only downside is, V8's cost a fortune to maintain and fix... You would think you could easily and cheapily have a reliable 8-second V8... Sadly, that is not the case.. If I blow my engine, its a quick $2,000 fix with built internals.. Stock LT1 is like $6,000 used and bone stock..(*edit* - and yikes the Lt4 is $10,000 used... rip our wallets lol)

@@Dailyshart What is your setup? Ill be at Import Face-Off in October in Gainesville.. Im hoping to hit low 8's high 7's by then.. My setup has a lot in it to go. On e85 I can make 1000whp, but we havent pushed it that hard yet. Im on a new setup and Turbo so I am still dialing it in. TBH, I was shocked I was able to run an 8 on my first night out on this setup(only the 2nd pass of the night). And I ran the 8 on a very mild 35lbs and pretty poor 60ft, and was probably only making around 800whp. My 60ft is my biggest issue right now moreso than my powertrain. I need to really get my suspension and launch dialed in.

That metal intake pipe is a big negative, and right above the exhaust. Getting no ambient temp that way. And ambient builds power.
