The only weird thing about his animations is his active skill but eh, everything else looks great, glad they didn't fumble the 18 ki for Blue Gogeta
With a whole 2 minutes of animation you just know we're leveling up
My only complaint is he doesn’t have an intro, it could’ve been when he shows up and goes super saiyan or Goku and Vegeta fuse, we get to see the cool blue and orange thing swirl around and Gogeta comes out and then he teleports to his enemy. Hopefully we get one of those 2 eventually

The main difference between the two is 5th yr gogeta uses his aura a lot more, which does look incredible to be fair, and as always has that unbelievably nicely animated active skill. So I sorta get it, I am just confused since the new gogeta has more pixels/animation time put into his character art and sprites and the like, and has his insanely good looking counter

They kinda fumbled on certain parts of his animations making them look kinda funky. The SSJ animations are a bit boring, they could've added some dokkan original elements into it to spice it up. Overall I think Broly's animations look better. Sad that they didn't go all out since they CAN go way above this.

@@average5206 Pretty sure they're already aware of that and probably decided to reuse and improve the quality of the animation for this unit. The animation for this Gogeta looks far better compared to his older version.

They all look pretty good but his active looks off to me. The 18 ki for blue looks very nice, good to see that it is the galick kamehameha and not the final kamehameha.

@@WatermelonCatEdits probably not but maybe I’m really not sure until we get to use them but u defitnley could be right at the time I left that comment I miss read gogetas passive I didn’t know he guards in base I think broly will probably be a little better in base tbh it looks like broly is more of a tank but gogeta blue seems like he’s gonna do a lot of damage and usually I think damage is useless I’m the sense I’d rather take a character who could tank a super from zamasu then a character who can drop 30 mil attack stats but gogetas active will probably be the hardest hitting in the game especially with that greatly raising attack for 4 turns

I'm going to be the odd one out and say I'm not a fan of his animations when he's ssj they just copied and pasted the AGL one but a bit more detailed but when he goes blue I do think the attacks animations rise up and are even greater and love when he flexes on his victims after sending them into the mountain
The ssj animations are much more detailed than the TUR counterpart imo. I can tell that the increase in detail and quality isnt minor.

The ultimate with the kamehameha and the spirit sword combination attack is cool at the end, his ssb sa before the ultra is my favorite out his moveset

My only problem is they made gogeta a carnival unit so it’s harder to get em but ima try my best
I hope people, fandom and devs take this as constructive feedback. Obviously dokkan original animations look good but there still feels a huge gap between anime adapted animations and dokkan original animations. I know this is subjective, but I think there should be a discussion on this. Imagine if dokkan hired some much more experienced animators from anime world, imagine what level that would bring dokkan original animations to. Obviously, it will cost dokkan more, but it's just my assumption that the current animators in dokkan are their in-house animators whose speciality lies in replicating existing animations.
E.g. that one shot of gogeta blue posing after his active skill looks a bit wacky. No complains for Broly as most of his animations are just from the movie so it's hard to mess him up.
Again, I think there should be a constructive discussion on how dokkan may take their orignal animations to higher heights.
Tbh, I kinda wanted 3 or 4 osts for Gogeta (oh and an intro).
