Dear sweet Kelly, so glad you and yours are alright! I was definitely thinking about you. I’m a Pittsburgher but have family in both Florida and NC. My sister in NC said she’s never seen anything like this. We were just there visiting weeks before Helene. We visited Beech mountain and the Wizard of Oz park as well as beloved Lake Lure and are so devastated of the loss and destruction. Thankfully like you, she’s ok- lost some power and had some basement flooding but it pale in comparison to what many have suffered. I offer my prayers up to God everyday for those afflicted.🙏Take care because priorities are what is most important and we will see ya when we see Ya!❤

I have been thinking about you and glad to hear that you and your Mom are OK. I live in NETN and I only lost internet (which is not even worth mentioning) and I was beyond blessed. So many lost everything. Unicoi County and Carter County TN were just devestated. As was Damascus, VA. It will take a long time for our area to recover. Love and prayers to you and your family.
