No matter how you DO (or DON'T) celebrate the Christmas season, let us take a moment and appreciate this MOST divine tribute by Sissel to this MOST Holy and Sacred event - the birth of Jesus Christ, our Savior.
It is strange (is it NOT) that - though this day is set aside to honor HIM as His "birthday" - it is, in fact, HE who gave to us the priceless gift beyond compare, reconciliation again with our God and Creator !!

I am quite sure that when Sissel sings "What Child" or Helga Natt" (especially the first one on this video), she does NOT consider what she is doing as "worshipping God". If asked, she would no doubt reply that she is merely exercising the divine gift that she has been given, or that she is just doing that which she MOST loves - SINGING in front of an audience !!
However, I have NEVER heard and seen a more Divine nor Heavenly rendition of these two songs -- ANYWHERE - by ANY other singer - not in a church - nor sung by a choir - nor sung by a "christian singer" !!
Perhaps THIS is what makes Sissel SO appealing, captivating and mesmerizing. She probably knows NOTHING (nor cares) about "religion" - and yet she radiates an aura of "Divine Glory" such as God has blessed her life and person with. She is truly a "Heavenly treasure in a earthen vessel" !!
She looks and sounds TOO beautiful to be merely human. Did you ever stop and ask yourself -- "HOW could God pack THAT MUCH Beauty, Charisma, Energy, Joy, Love, Modesty, Talent and PURE Zest for and Love of Life into one package" ?? Surely Sissel is His "Prototype Human-being" !! 🥰🥰😊
God sent angles to proclaim the Good Tidings among men - and SURELY one of them was named Sissel. What a magnificent voice and a heavenly, beautiful and gracious woman !!!! I hear the sound of heaven whenever she sings.
