Even when the road seems to be good... .it's still bad. It's obvious that the country is using the wrong technology on these roads.
I know what you mean -its like Julius Berger and other road engineers build with a 'here's a road for the Natives" mindset when constructing roads for Nigeria but are more meticlouse when building roads abroad. Consequently roads for Nigeria seem to miss some unquantifiable quality present in roads abroad; for instance, in Norway, UK, America, China etc.
Very soon they will paint that ugly wall that they placed along the cerner of the road with black and white markings as though we are easily pleased children.

Sematic is a local constractors,the minister of works was very impressed by their work when he inspected the construction recently...There is still a lot to be done on this road from akwa lbom to calabar,l hope they use concrete pavement whatever they do.Thanks.
