Being a Nightwish fan for so long, and a long time fan of Max Cavalera Sepultura, Koffin Kanser, Pantera and the likes, I found that this particular track is very very very good. Just discovered this track weeks ago and I am really glad you discovered them too! 🤟🏼
Alyssa also has a very nice 'clean' voice, and used to regularly sing backup for Kamelot on tour. Kamelot was touring with Nightwish in 2012, so when Annette has to be rushed to the hospital in Denver Alyssa was one of the two fill-in singers. Floor got the phone call and was in the air the next day.
Nice :) you should absolutely also do a live performance by them from the Live in Tokyo 2008 show with their previous vocalist Angela Gossow. Alissa is great but personally I like hearing Angela a lot more. She had a different style of growl. Also I always get captivated by her stage presence. Where Alissa controls the crowd, Angela possessed the crowd with pure demonic force :)

A friend of mine, also my neighbor, was a huge fan of them. Also, he used to listen a lot to Fear Factory, Sepultura, and so on. I remember going to his house to play FF VII while listening to his cd's.

You should try arch enemy - the world is yours, but i didn't find a good live version so PLEASE react to the official video, since you are a drummer you will see what that drummer can do, its REALLY something :D + sub dude ;)
“Kicking briefcases” Was that a reference to Jinjer lol. Great video, there’s a lot of people who preferred their previous singer Angela Gossow, and I honestly feel like Alyssa’s talents aren’t being put to their best use with Arch Enemy, but this is still a great performance.
Check out War Eternal live Wacken 2016, I like Nemesis more with Angela but Alissia are almost filling her shoes. Alissia and Angela are both very good stage perfomers!
im just new listening to this band and i see alot of ya'll saying that the angela version is better so i also watched it expecting alot major differences .after watching it ,i'm a little underwhelmed tbh like how's that better than this ?
