I’m barely getting started on this video but any other times he’s played SKATE he always goes for the weird tricks to get letters on people. They’re usually tricks other skaters have no interest in learning. The letters he gives other people aren’t cuz he’s got more skill than them. I’ve seen games when JP does like 4 or 5 switch boardslide variations on this same ledge. He does it the same way he tried to this time(2:13, when Jacob said it doesn’t count). He slides a few inches & then does a body varial out, shuv-it, 270, etc. All the other players ended up with letters for almost every single trick JP did. Even tho it got them letters I’m sure they all could’ve landed the tricks he did if they just got a few tries to get familiar with it. Again, the letters he gives aren’t cuz the other guys” skill level is lower

Joel Bird yeah, i wasnt going to say anything but fk it. Before i commented here i was watching him on one of the late night shows with Conan. His energy was very special, and itd seep in from the senses into the soul cuz you could just tell true passion at first witness.
they are getting better by playing these games.. They each have unique styles and tricks they can do so forces them to at least try to do different tricks they arn't used to... I say that these games has got them better honostly
Jp just needs to go a bit faster and slide at least a few more inches, those baby taps have been goin down for a while and he got em pretty good. time to step it up though, kids still crazy good.
Just my opinion, but I think you (Jacob) really need to capitalize on having Nick/Brandon/Mikey/Eddie. These guys are the most capable of putting out extremely talented skating and quality content. The reason your sub count has drastically reduced increasing over the last year and a half is because these guys aren't hardflipping 10 stairs or tearing up Austin regularly anymore. You only have so much time to keep your channel going by utilizing these guys until they get too old to attempt gnarly stuff (see Rick). Tl;dr - use young talent for unique content while you can.

So true. The level of content has dropped drastically from when the first time I saw Majer crew (when they were doing insane shit and everybody was hitting big stuff). Now, all you get is variations of games of skate and it's boring. How about a day in the life? How about MORE STREET? How about different parks? How about bigger obstacles? How about going to competitions? It really feels like Mikey, Nick, Eddie, Brandon are wasting their prime years playing games of skate.
