    Wow i didn't know how laborious this would be especially since it monopolizes your watch for 24-36 hours.

      True but they are great for curved surfaces

      You can get away with letting it sit for an hour or two. Just be careful not to bump it for the next 12 hrs.

    Thank you, that was very helpful. I think it should have mentioned to apply the film adhesive side down. That is what my other brand did. Just a thought

      3:28 he does mention an adhesive side. Gonna assume the adhesive side was paper side down.

      Because you might want adhesive facing your sleeve... to store a few morsels of something to snack on later...😂😂😂

    Is the adhesive side the side on the paper.? Does the adhesive side go on the screen or are both sides adhesive when wet? I would think it would make a difference.

    Use Windex not dish soap it’s way easier dries quicker and achieves the same results

      Thank you for commenting!! I tried this and my watch is already almost dry after an hour. I’m going to let it sit for the rest of the day but it’s looking good so far.

    So instead of adding a teaspoon of dish soap I added a few drops assuming it would dry faster. Well I left it to sit overnight and 7-8 ish hours later I go to check on it and it’s still sticky to the touch. If I put my finger on it, it ends up lifting the screen protector off my fitbit a little bit. I’m pretty sure I didn’t put the adhesive side facing up, does it just need more time to sit and dry?
    Also, because it’s sticky to the touch I can’t hold it and move bubbles or anything out.

    Will this protect my watch screen from cracking?

    • @ItchyKneeSon
      @ItchyKneeSon 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It will probably add some structural integrity. But I wouldn't rely on it to prevent cracking. It'll absorb some shock if you drop it or hit it against something. It's s definitely a net positive.

      Works great! I'm a handyman and used one for 6 months. Screen looked perfect underneath.

    You never used the application solution that comes with the screen protectors in this video.

      It’s the same thing essentially, it was just to demonstrate how to make it if you didn’t get the solution. I used the solution it came with and it worked just like he showed

    Warm water cold water?

    • @ItchyKneeSon
      @ItchyKneeSon 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If that mattered, they probably would've mentioned it. Warmer water *may* hello it cute quicker, as hear tends to speed up chemical reactions. But I wouldn't count on it.

    Few hours or few days to dry??

    • @ItchyKneeSon
      @ItchyKneeSon 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Overnight... About 12 hours to dry. Then, the micro-bubbles will disappear over the next couple days.

      Kids these days...
      Just use the 2x speed feature on TH-cam, mang!
      Sounds like you need to do some 'forest bathing' to lengthen your attention span. Leave the devices at home and go for a walk in the woods. Even find a nice, secluded spot and just sit there for a while. Barefoot is even better.
