1. Which controller did you use for this setup and what are the makes and models of the 2 controllers being offered? 2. It would be easier just to get a battery with a 100/150a bms. Do you have any teardowns of the batteries EMMO offers or know what BMS they use for the 50a for we may be able to find a plug and play upgrade if it's from certain companies. 3. I'm willing to bet it is in MPH, for what I was able to find out for the speedo and the current controller setups but can easily changed once you know which setting it is. 4. Does the Bluetooth exhaust still light up like it does on the Gandan when on the Zone? 5. My speedo has been accurate from day one on my zone when comparing it to multiple gps aps, so now I just remember the kmh numbers for the correct MPH and blend in when the weather is nice.
Hey Rodney! I asked Emmo about the speedo for miles, they said no. Emmmo also doesn't provide detailed info about batteries or BMS. And yup that is the gandan bluetooth set up. That is amazing that your speedo is accurate,, that's rare.
My first "motor-cycle" size E-bike was a 2018 Emmo Sport Zone with 20ah battery. Now...im upgraded to the Tao Leo (bought from Ride the Wind...TY!). If/when Leo comes out with 6,000 watt.....im IN!!

Depends on your weight, local retain and how fast you drive. Speed, weight and acceleration as well as hills plays a major role in distance. Driving normally a 180lbs person with the dual batteries I would say around 200kph per charge.
That'd be impressive. My used emmo knight currently only does about 40km per charge, batteries are original(6 years old). I appreciate your input, I'm still just new to learning the ins and outs of the ebike world.

You need check ather 450x, ola s1 pro, river ebike, revolt 400 and many more from Indian ev market. They have the best models with only lithium bikes with a range of 120 to 140km.

Nope. You need a nivis to register a vehicle or motorcycle. People keep saying they registered it. In Saskatchewan, I had someone explain it. But here in Ontario, I have yet to see it
We spoke of this over the past weekend, Jolene. Can we not run a series of test DC Level two charges on a returned/scrap battery to see how it holds up? Fast charging, IMO makes these options a much more easier cost to incur vs a Zero, Evoke, Livewire, etc. I'm confident Darren can wire up a charger that looks much more stable and professional vs what others have posted.
That probably sounded cocky, not meant that way. The Zones are always sold out. Never seems to be enough. The Rocket is as custom as it gets. Sales happen when there's too much inventory. Just not the case with Emmo Zones
The speedometer on Zone doesn't read right either. I've been using Google maps to watch my speed, or another GPS app I got that I use sometimes. None of the people I know with Zones get proper speed readings.

The "SR" is now called the "Model S", and at roughly 20k (MSRP) Cdn the margins are there, no? There are only two retailers in Ontario who carry Zero, and I can't confirm that either provide service. An opportunity you should reconsider, even if you were to be a Zero inventory holder. Those who seek Zero know exactly what we are coming for. Note: The previous generation (2023 discontinued) Zero S slaps the Tao Leo and the Zone GTS out the box, it's a no contest. Even the DS, and the FXE.
Hi Jolene. Just curious as to why it's not possible to run this bike with the batteries in parallel, and you were repetitively saying you can't on the older versions. Could you let us know, as I'd love to run my dual 30ah's in parallel, even though I installed the second one as a redundant battery just so I wouldn't get stuck somewhere without enough juice to get home. Would just love to run them in parallel so I can do longer trips. Awesome video btw... AMAZING BIKE... and here I was loving MINE.... :'( :-)
Duh Ohms law two batteries in parallel increase the power available to the bike voltage remains the same two batteries in series equals double the voltage which would likely blow the shit out of your electrical system🤪
It seems someone is NO compliant with the Ontario Highway traffic act. Fines can go up to $1000s "Not be capable of providing further assistance when the bicycle attains a speed of 32 km/hr."

So by law this bike can only travel 32km and you don’t need license or insurance. If this is the case your really pushing the regulations for a e-bike I looked up the laws for a e-bike and the motor can’t exceed 500 watts if it is it’s no longer considered a e-bide and you will need a license and insurance.. Question is am I right or am I wrong, I take it if you don’t reply means I’m right..
Get e bike i surance if youre in ontario for christ sakes. So many people die on bikes and you get something woth ZERO liability that goes road car speeds, adheres to our rules but accident happens we are held at fault because they got a bike that goes 100kmh with no liscense... makes sense.
All these e bikes should be treated as motorcycles going over 40kmh even. An accident at that speed can be lethal for an untrained rider especially getting a bike with 0 experience no lisenceno coverage at more weight than a cbr 650rr like come on..... this is beyond illegal these are deathtraps waiting for someone else to take the fault. There's like q0 here in town now that I've almost hit or almost hit me due to inexperience or not knowing traffic rules. It's honestly disgusting how you'd say "I don't want to hear how it's illegal" why do the rest of us have to pay for insurance and shit yet you don't have to pay for anything but the bike and still want more power. Gas powered bikes are the same the speedometer is out by 2kmh. I had a 1984 Yamaha 400 maxium it's top speed was 110 mph but actually it was108 mph

We have, but the 3500sq ft we have isn't enough as it is
