Great video Crocoblock, Is there a way to store the data in a session or cookie and get the list from there? This would allow anyone to use it instead of only authorized users, or is there maybe an option to get the default value from a data store?
Have you found a solution? I would like that too, to work like a quote request without the need to loose time to create an account. That would be much better for UX.
is it possible to create 2 favorite buttons depending on a taxonomy ? lets say i got a books and cd´s , can the store date button check the taxonmy and put it in the right favorite category ?
@@roygh I want to build a real estate listing directory. Would like to add a page in user dashboard where they can see listings they added as favorite. Also want to add saved search notifications... meaning when they search a property type and found no listing they could save the search and receive an email notification when such listing type are newly added to the directory. Can this be done ?
Hello. Great tutorial. It's possible to add a quantity input(maybe with + and -) in the data store page so users can set different quantities for different cpt's they add to data store just like Woocommerce? Then they can send a quote request through the form? Thanks.
Hello! Thank you for your feedback. + and - can be used to add a Product to the cart, not to the data store. Data store just adds the post to the list of favorites.
Is it possible to only display the "Favorite books" selected. because if you have a lot books it gets messy. I only want the user to submit the books he selected
Great idea, functionality and tutorial! You've done it again, Croco! I have two questions: 1. Does all this work with the legacy form builder? 2. Is there a way to visually display the list of books in the email, as opposed to just text?
@@Crocoblock- Thanks for answering! Your feedback is great! For question 1, I was asking if what we saw in the video can be done with the form builder extension that comes as part of a JetEngine. I know you have a new, separate form plugin for Gutenberg; but I use the old JetEngine extension.

Hello. How you made the cart page? It also have the quantity input functionality? I need this too: to let users set a quantity for the CPT they add to the "cart" page then in the "cart" page to have the form so they can request a quote for the cpt's added with the quantity specified. Thanks.
Hi, is it possible to display only the checked posts in the list, of course without hiding the list... I have thousands of posts and it is not necessary to have all of them in the list except the checked ones.. Thank you very much
Could you let me know how I can do this with Elementor/Crocoblock? I already have favourites set up using Elementor/Crocoblock but once users add a list of 100 products, I would like them to send that list like a "Get Quote " button. But once they send the list, I need it to be organized nicely (product code, product thumbnail, product name, any other meta field that I have added to the favourite listing. This means on the wp admin dashboard or a front end account dashboard for the admin, I would to see the latest quote requests by user, date. I would also like to be able to have columns for each quote request: user email, no of products in the request, and user country. I would also like to also have a search feature to be able to search any of those details in any requests. I would like to also give the user the following options: an opportunity to download the list in a PDF view, but with my website logo and URL in each page so that the branding of the site is on anything they download. Any help on this would be great as I have yet to find any tutorial that gives a similar feature guide which I could copy from.
You may add a hidden field to your form Current Post Meta prnt.sc/eS2ePhtHPAiy. Then use this form field name in Send Email action: prnt.sc/UBpZ7tISVk4t

Dear Naomi, you're such a great tutor. Thanks pal

You can create a query in the listing that compares the taxonomies and displays the ones returned by the query.

What If we stored data as cookies ???
Since we get the list of favorite posts from database you need to choose User Metadata for Storage type.
@@Crocoblock I made a cart page using the data store cookies option so is there any way to achieve the same without user metadata?
