Got shot during the prison battle between his fellow peers and The Governor along with his men. Got kidnapped and tortured and beaten and still managed to escape or survive. I can list more if I go back and he got punched twice hard by Tyrese despite getting help from Daryl. Rick easily gets durability because despite being "weak", he literally got through more beatings, shots, etc than anyone else.
