- "Chapters of you" is a short film representing the lgbtq+ community in their early stage of self-discovery. The film is about a teenager discovering herself through the strange emotion she has for her girl best friend! As the story progresses, she faces an unprecendented truth about her identity that changes her way of thinking in the future.

Hi guys, I'm Fin and I just graduated from Hanoi-Amsterdam High School For The Gifted. I plan to pursue Digital Media Studies at the University of Rochester in the future.
This is a short film I created for my personal project called "Lucid Pictures". "Chapters of You" is what I have experienced on the way of discovering my sexuality. I used to have a crush on my best friend lol. Whenever I look back at that period of time, I always smile as if it's a memory that helped me become the person today - mature and independent.
Through the film, I also want Vietnamese community to normalize the image of LGBTQ+ love and take a generous perspective on the community

*Important note:
Since the short film is based in Vietnam where the lgbtq+ community is not as fully recognized and supported as in other country and there are places that illegalize same-sex relationship, I have to make the film less sensitive as possible. Therefore, some of you guys might not get the sensation and feeling you ever wanted. I just want to show people that homosexual feeling exists, how lgbt kids experience confusion in a community where they only praise “man” and “woman” loves and how lgbt people deserve to be loved as portrayed in the end of the movie that the main character has an unannounced girlfriend. Thank you!

I fell inlove with a straight girl and then thought we may have mutual feelings with each other but found out that she didn't swing the same way. But now I'm happy for myself, I'm definitely moving on and still friends with her. Hoping she'll find someone who deserves her.

This story is very similar to mine.. i am going through this and i fell so lucky to meet her and falling in love with her for me she is the best. And i know she only think of me as a friend and i think any how my fellings reched to her and she was uncomfortable with my felling so i stopped there.
