I can't even see the side of the car when it's taking a sharp turn, it's like a car image is just glued in the center of the screen that won't go away

First who plays in the third person, it is easier in the first person and the details of the car in the first person are great
Looks lie the industry haven't lost the fascination for reflexes. Too shiny, too reflexive IMHO.
Its amazing what the difference is from a LOCKED fixed position camera versus one that will slightly move along with steering. This is why I prefer Forza.

The physics in Forza games are dreadful. Have you ever tried playing FM with a good wheel? Compared to GT with a good wheel setup its night and day, GT absolutely wipes the floor with Forza.
Thing turns like a boat
The graphics are great and all, but it’s a fucking crime what they did with micro transactions. To get a Lamborghini veneno, you’d have to win the same race that takes about 12-15 min to finish, for 40,000 credits, almost 100 times. Or, buy it for $40 from the PS store. They make it so that you have to grind for an eternity to get most of the cars in the game, it’s all built to make you want to skip the wait and pay them more money. Spending $60 on the game is just the beginning if you want to experience the full game and not wait 10 months to do it.

They need to make the trees move in the wind. Their so static it looks odd.

Ну врят ли ты здесь все спишешь на ураган. Вполне возможно ты подумаешь что кто-то решил тебе отомстить и это явно не ураган.
А теперь представь что у тебя в коробке 3000 (три тысяча) буквенных символов. И представь что ты подкинул все эти буквы в воздух. Упав на асфальт какова вероятность что эти буквы образуют какое нибудь слово? А какова вероятность что эти буквы образуют какое нибудь предложение? А какова вероятность что эти буквы образуют какой нибудь абзац? А какова вероятность что эти буквы образуют какой нибудь текст? А какова вероятность что эти буквы образуют какую нибудь книгу? Вероятность равна почти нолю.
А ведь двойная спираль днк намного сложнее устроена чем текст на асфальте.
Верить в то что там где то сверкнула молния и вот там тоже где то сверкнула молния, а потом произошла химическая реакция и химические элементы бац соединились и образовали сложное химическое вещество, которая вдруг стало бороться за свое сохранение и не просто сохранение, а ещё и воспроизведение себе подобных- это глупо.
Это все равно что будучи археологом ты наткнешься на руины древнего города и первая мысль которая к тебе в голову придет- это что здесь когда то жили люди. Ну, а если твой коллега скажет: "неа, это просто там сверкнула молния и вон там тоже сверкнула молния, а потом началось землетрясение и вот таким образом и образовался этот город". Ты после этого разговора скорее всего попросишь руководство что бы твоего коллегу отстранили от работы в связи с тем что у него поехала крыша.
Так вот предыдущая ситуация еще более нелепая.
Бытует мнение что наша вселенная хаотична. Но я с этим не соглашусь. Я уверен что наша вселенная упорядоченна.
Так что ребята случайностей не бывает. Случайного везения просто нет. Наша вселенная не хаотична, а упорядоченна. Просто ставьте цели и достигайте их. И верьте что у вас тоже может получиться. Не сдавайтесь ребята.

Facts lol I saw Some forza comparisons and I was shocked how Forza Motorsport 7 or whatever their current game is now looks. It looks better in certain scenario like night time and road surface detail.

Only the car modeling is almost real but other than that it's just ps3 and ps4 graphics.
Its smooth & all but i seriously think NFS Heat looks better than this, esp wet tarmac & surroundings.

The way the camera behaves in 3rd person view can be changed so that it doesn't stay "glued" to the back of the car so rigidly but rather allow you to see the sides of the car when you turn like in other racers.
It's because it's rigid and this player is playing on a controller , jerkily .
By PlayStation 7 it's going to look exactly like real racing the cars look really good now

Needs more raytracing in global illumination and reflexes. The trees models looks like 2d sprites in higher resolution. It is like 2 planes crossing with a texture with transparency in the borders. There is not a 3d model leaf in it.

I remember when I was like 8 playing Gran Turismo 3. The reflections on the car, the solar glares, the amazing detail and graphics. I really thought graphics could not get any better than that.
Well, the graphics 8j GT haven't improved that much since. Still looks trash.
But DriveClub set the time, so until now, no game (even with mods) can surpass DriveClub in terms of graphics
I also remember being about 9 and playing Gran Turismo 3, I am now 11, because my grandma has a PS2.

It's ps5 smart shift. I have this problem on every single game I own on ps5 (including ps4 games). One moment games look like 4k 60 ultra settings, the next they look like 720p lowest settings. This has almost pushed me to sell my console. I keep hoping this problem is eradicated in an update to no avail. Some games are more pronounced than others with this issue.

Yea DC was a great game but it ran at a much lower res and only 30fps.
Clearly one of the best game on ps4, sounds, speed and effect, everything was better than GT7. So bad that the better tracks, the most famous ones were absent from the game…
Just like Zelda Breathf of the Wild and The Last of Us, it only looks beautiful from the artistic aspect, meaning that it is only beautiful because of the designers and developers that were creative enough to create a master piece, now from the graphical standpoint, it looks really ugly, with washed textures, weak reflections, bad lighting and you can notice there are FPS drops too. There's has never been a Gran Turismo game with FPS drops when it was the first one released for its respective console.

Fantastic video, the only problem with Grand Turismo series is that it always looked kind of dimmed, like the picture is missing sharpness and lighting, everything else is great.

Actually u don’t. The only thing that ps5 gives is adaptive triggers and good graphic. All other thing is absolutely the same. Even regular ps4 giving 60fps.

Beautiful game? Yes for sure, but I'll never understand WHY GT has that LOCKED go pro camera feeling. This is SO UNNATURAL. It makes me dizzy. Racing cameras should always slide a bit. GT cam makes it feels like the car is stationary and the world is moving. It KILLS the feeling of speed, this is why so many people complain about the lack of speed in GT games. Just watch Forza cam to see how better it feels. I know it has some option, but even the "free" camera is TOO hard for me.

I wouldn't worry about it. I think HDR is only used in replays.
Yeah I eventually realized it was not the HDR that made the track look different but merely the time of day in the video. I got use to the evening time because I was grinding a race event at the time lol

GT7 is indeed a beautiful game, but I must say Forza on the Series X takes the cake. Gran Turismo titles has always been a polished looking game including on previous gen Playstations, but Forza being its competitor has leveled up their game as well.

Driving dynamics are slightly off though. The throttle is way too sensitive and you are prone to oversteer all the time. Without ASM and Traction control some of the cars cannot be enjoyed which is a shame
Timing, fast tapping of brake and acceleration is all that matters. Sorry but the dude in the video doesn't know how to drive
But what tv will make this look good...qled or oled?
