Girl, laban lang! 6th year ko na sa college and 2nd year pa din ako. Pangalawang course ko na yung tinetake ko ngayon dahil kicked out ako sa una kong course. 2nd school ko na din to dahil nagtransfer ako. Same school, ibang campus lang. Nakakahiya din TOR ko dahil puro bagsak at dropped. Kaya kung ggraduate man ako (sana! ay hindi. ggraduate ako!) bale 8 years ako sa college. Daig ko pa nagdoctor dahil 4 years yung nasayang. Kaya laban lang. Kahit yan din yung sinasabi ko sa sarili ko ngayon. Di ko ma-explain pero halo halong pressure, anxiety, depression, etc. kung bakit naging ganito. Eto irregular ako at hanggang ngayon walang constant na nakakasama sa school kaya most of the time mag-isa. Kinakaya ko na lang dahil gusto ko makagraduate at magka diploma para kahit pano mapatunayan ko sa parents ko na hindi sayang yung chances at tiwala na binigay nila. Kahit minsan nahihiya na ko dahil isang compound kami ng magkakamag anak. Naabutan na ko ng mga pamangkin ko, naunahan na din ako ng iba. Yung tipong makikita nila naka uniform padin ako. Kapag may family reunion at magtatanungan ng graduate ka na ba, naa-awkwardan ako. ☹️ Iniisip ko na lang, tyaga lang! Ngayon lang to. Kaya ko to. Kaya fight lang be. ❤️

I have been through your experience at from someone who experienced so many failure and unexpected detour in my plans; mas masarap damhin ang tagumpay na binugbog ng sandamakmak na hirap at pagsubok. Wag kang panghinaan ng loob, hindi mahalaga kung gaano ka kabilis natapos, ang mahalaga ay kung gaano kalaki ang natutunan mo sa kurso mo. Sa pinagdadaanan mo, mas magiging compassionate kang VET kumapara sa mga contemporaries mo dahil sa wealth of experience mo na tanging ikaw lang ang mayroon. I finished law school after 5 years. Got 63 in one of my major subject in first year. Was discouraged by my mother. But I fought for it not because I know I can do it but I held on to God's plan for me. It's not about the number of your failures but how you stood up and faced it every time. When you look back you will be amazed how you survived. Importante maliban sa sipag ay pananampalataya kay Lord. Walang taong bobo, meron lang talagang tamad. 😊

Hi Arah! Just want to share my thoughts about your struggles in college. It took me 7 years to finish the veterinary medicine course. Di man UPLB yung pinasukan ko but still I felt the same pressure, disappointments, anxiety, etc that came with the course. But I was determined back then to get my diploma and be a licensed veterinarian. Determination and FAITH! Sharing with you JEREMIAH 29:11, everytime na sunod2 ang exams noon, I always claimed God’s promise. Na alam kong magiging veterinarian ako because I desired for it and its God’s plan for me. It was not an easy ride. Kung luha lang, marami din akong inilabas nun. But I think those trying times in my colleges days helped me who I am and what I have become now. Konting kembot na lang ghorl masusuot mo na sablay mo. Looking forward to meet you someday, maybe during one of the national conventions of PVMA. Claim it!

Tonight, i just found out that i failed one of my major subjects, and i will not be able to take several major subjects next semester to step up because of that. I was so down knowing that i will be delayed in college and i will disappoint myself, my parents, and all the people who were rooting for me. I'm thinking of shifting to another program just to escape that failure of mine but i realized something while watching this video, that i should continue and never give up coz it's something that i really wanted to pursue. Thanks for the video. It helped me a lot.
Natatawa din ako sa experience ko. Sa college, 3 times ko tinake and Filipino subject. Nursing course ko nun so minor subject ang Filipino 1 at Filipino ako parang takte ganun ba ako ka-bobo jusko! 5 years pa ako sa college at take 3 ko pa Filipino 1. Pero natapos din nakagraduate din. Hello nakita kong 3 years ago pa tong vid. Ngayon lang kita napanood. 3rd Year Civil Engineering student ako. 4 years na lang kasi engineering sa new curriculum and madedelay ako ng 1 year kasi nababagsak ko yung mga pre req na subjects. Ngayon nag underload ako to ease yung pressure. Pero I still doubt myself if tama ba desisyon ko? Dapat ba pinagsabay ko dalawang major subjects? Kaso hirap ako pag madaming majors. And then after watching this vid, sobrang na amaze ako gaano ka strong. Nilaban mo course mo kahit na matagal kang nadelay. I'm proud of you. Nakakabigay motivation. Ngayon, I'm taking my time. Mas nakakatamad kasi maluwag yung oras pero I use yung nga spare time ko to properly plan out studies ko and have meditation since di na rin okay anxiety ko mula nung nagstart pandemic. Sobrang hirap ng online class. Nakaka insecure lalo pa't di mo na nga kilala classmates mo, virtual mo pa silang nakakausap. i may not understand how this felt dahil ontine ako grumaduate but i know how this affects students delayed din sister ko for 2 years sa college na supposedly dapat 4 yrs lang.. she went through numerous breakdowns esp she graduated as a salutatorian nung highschool but seeing her now fulfilling what she cried for during college was a different kind of joy sa kanya and safamily namin.. keep going doc arah. Your delays are God's way of preparing you to become better. Sabi nga Those rejections are God's redirection!!!! lovelove❤️❤️❤️

gusto ko lang sabihin na naka apat na school nako and tatlong course palipat-lipat. I doubted myself so much and because of social anxiety na din kaya nagkanda leche leche buhay kolehiyo ko. Nakakahiya dahil lagi sakin sinasabi na babae pa naman ako pero pariwara :'( Hindi lang nila alam kung anong pinagdadaanan ko. Hindi nila alam kung ilang beses ko ding naiisip na baka bobo lang talaga ako at sana naging matalino nalang ako at hindi slow learner. Now I am struggling to be a working student at 25 balak ko sana 26 talagang mtapos ko na lahat sa school. Kaya natin to! At sa lahat ng makakabasa nito magiging successful din tayo at shet lahat ng taong hinihila tayo pababa! 😂😂

Nakakadepress minsan pero laban lang. 6 yrs na din ako sa collge gawa ng palipat lipat ng school. Hindi ko na lng pinapansin sinasabi ng iba lalo na kung wla naman mapapala. Don’t look down on yourself and just make your remaining time on campus educational, fun, and meaningful. Once you enter the workforce the year of your graduation nor the length of time it took you to complete your studies won’t even matter. The only thing that will matter is how far you’ve come. Trust me. This is from a formerly struggling UPLB student (now an alumnus) who is, by any standard, successful here in the US.

i may not understand how this felt dahil ontine ako grumaduate but i know how this affects students delayed din sister ko for 2 years sa college na supposedly dapat 4 yrs lang.. she went through numerous breakdowns esp she graduated as a salutatorian nung highschool but seeing her now fulfilling what she cried for during college was a different kind of joy sa kanya and safamily namin..

gusto ko lang sabihin na naka apat na school nako and tatlong course palipat-lipat. I doubted myself so much and because of social anxiety na din kaya nagkanda leche leche buhay kolehiyo ko. Nakakahiya dahil lagi sakin sinasabi na babae pa naman ako pero pariwara :'( Hindi lang nila alam kung anong pinagdadaanan ko. Hindi nila alam kung ilang beses ko ding naiisip na baka bobo lang talaga ako at sana naging matalino nalang ako at hindi slow learner. Now I am struggling to be a working student at 25 balak ko sana 26 talagang mtapos ko na lahat sa school. Kaya natin to! At sa lahat ng makakabasa nito magiging successful din tayo at shet lahat ng taong hinihila tayo pababa! 😂😂
Hyka D. Same tyo ng nararamdaman. Makacomment lang ung iba kung bakit late ka nakagrad akala nila hindi nakakahurt ung mga sinasabi nila. Akala mo din mga perpekto nagiging desisyon nila sa buhay. Nakakadepress minsan pero laban lang. 6 yrs na din ako sa collge gawa ng palipat lipat ng school. Hindi ko na lng pinapansin sinasabi ng iba lalo na kung wla naman mapapala. Importante e di ka pa din sumusuko na makatapos ka. Lahat tayo may kanya kanyang time. Ang hindi tayo pare pareho ng journey. Kaya mga teh laban lang para sa pangarap 🧡

I just saw my college self here, sasablay din! ✊🏻 its really nice na nadocument mo ito kasi sobrang nakakamiss lahat ng emotion na yan.. when you get through it and balikan mo after sometime, matatawa ka na lang.. delayed din ako gumraduate sa uplb, hindi ako vet student but I know that feeling of frustration, but yung eagerness natin to push through, yun talaga ang totoong lesson na nakuha natin sa pagpasok natin sa uplb or any school, practice ito because the real world is worse... keep it up Arah! keep the fire burning! sasablay din, doc! 😊

Hi, Ate Arah! I remember watching your videos since the day I got my UPCAT results in 2020. Thank you for being the internet Ate figure I needed as a freshie. Today was supposed to be my graduation day if I didn't get delayed. I'll be attending the program for my friends, pero iiyak muna ako saglit before ko sila harapin in their pretty dresses and Sablay. Don’t look down on yourself and just make your remaining time on campus educational, fun, and meaningful. Once you enter the workforce the year of your graduation nor the length of time it took you to complete your studies won’t even matter. The only thing that will matter is how far you’ve come. Trust me. This is from a formerly struggling UPLB student (now an alumnus) who is, by any standard, successful here in the US.
