Honestly, I never tried harder than when I played AD jungle Malz YEARS ago when his creeps used to scale with AD. Was amazing against passive junglers.
They still have a 40% ad scaling though, it just was shifted to the on hit damage portion rather than the basic attack.
Team Star theme fits so good - abilities weak, but damn design and sound is nice

Lol back in the day I just went full AD malz because I didn’t know the difference between magic damage and physical damage so I thought that Black Cleaver would proc on his pets.

AD Malz used to be a viable off meta pick, but I couldn't even get him to do damage in URF with infinite voidlings and the crit buffs. I don't know what they did to him, but not even blasting Shift Al Mani could help him.
AD ratio removed from his W, a long while now. Malz kit only scales with AP now

The old Malzahar was healthier to do AD, because the Voiding was the passive and every 4 Cast skill you invoked his passive, an observation is that you did build with critical and the voiding does not cause critical damage
