Waseem Alim completed his B.sc, in Finance and Entrepreneurship from The University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School, and Co-founded Chaldal later on.
Chaldal is a grocery e-commerce startup in Bangladesh that achieved 9th position among World's Best 500 startups by Y combinator in 2015. This startup raised $32.8M to this date and continues to grow at a rapid pace.

চালডাল বাংলাদেশের একটা গ্রোসারি ই-কমার্স প্ল্যাটফর্ম যেটা ২০১৫ সালে Y কম্বিনেটর থেকে প্রকাশিত বিশ্বের সেরা ৫০০ টি স্টার্টআপের মধ্যে ৯ম স্থান অধিকার করেছে। স্টার্টআপটি এখন পর্যন্ত $৩২.৮ মিলিয়ন ফান্ডিং পেয়েছে এবং প্রতিনিয়ত বিকশিত হচ্ছে।
