That is a cool little truck. Great job, great find. The rubber flap on the back of the bin lift seems a little redundant; I guess it would keep in large objects but smaller things will easily fall out. shame the lights are where they are so it could not be mounted to the hopper. Keep up the great work.
Thanks. I just happened to see it on one of my random days out. At least they have something to stop rubbish from falling out. It could be a good thing it not being mounted to the body as that makes it a bit more different.
@@BinandChill You're right, it might be a good thing it not being mounted to the body. I've seen some low entry Australian rear load rubbish trucks which have similar flaps at the same location, but they are mounted to the body. The operators spend a lot of time kicking the flap to get the stuff that has fallen between the layers back into the truck.
Great video, nice to see a council using something different 👍
Glad you liked it! TBH every council has a NTM
Nice one mate! Nice to see swindon using something different
Yeah. I think it's gone now though
Nice one, love the Swindon council bins. Especially the 120l hillesi ones
Same. I just like 120ltr bins in general. Cotswold council has some 120ltr OP's those look epic.
@@BinandChill same, I love 120l OPs but they are so hard to get ahold of
Yeah they look amazing @@Bin_trucks_of_bucks
Great video mate, nice little lorry this
Thanks. Yeah, NTM are quite good.

@@NZRubbishTrucks Yep. A lot of rear loaders in Australia don't have good lifters though.
Nice of the NTM 👍🏻
Yeah
I saw one of these for sale last week, if money wasn't an obstacle I'd have got it and set myself up as an independent collector.
Not a bad idea. You can get trucks for quite cheap it is the permits and yard which costs a tonne.
@@BinandChill Plus the running costs too, keeping a truck roadworthy can get expensive.
@@Chicken-x6q6d True
What if you put the bin in between both sides
You can do that it just lifts the bin as normal
Yea
The plate is slow on it
That lifter looks a bit slow as well.
Still looks faster than the faun Powerpress 😂
that's just the speed they are.

Yeah
