Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3 (Clash of Ninja 3): Ultimate Combos

  • Well, its about that time again. Time to once again test and see how many hits this games engine allows me to make. I finally got GNT 3 about 2 weeks ago and have been playing it on and off trying to get all the characters. I know these aren't the best combo's like how the last Anko combo is technically not a combo. All these might not do the best damage, but these are the ones that I thought we're the best for each character. As stated in my other video, none of these combo's would actually work against opponents (Unless they didn't know how to substitute), and were purely created to see the limit on the amount of hits for each character in the game. Hopefully, I plan on doing this for GNT4 as well. I might consider uploading some 3-Man Cell Matches for this game too.
    P.S. As per usual, this is a test to see the games ability to keep a combo flowing. Techrolls and Substitutions will absolutely destroy any chance of these long combos being done unless they have the chakra seal handicap or your opponent would rather eat the damage and save meter for the next round.

    A lot are indeed possible when the opponent is hit at low or zero chakra. Naruto and Kankuro's need to be simplified, Anko's can be extended--not the forward B one--Lee's ultra-hyper finish combo only works on an idiot and Kakashi, Anko occoasionally, and Neji only work on small circle stages. Sakura, Haku, Shino, Sasuke's double Fire style combination, Ten-ten's second combo, Tsunade, and absolutely Sarutobi's all require a wall (with less hits, you don't need the wall to land the X jutsu). Sasuke can land his jutsu off of Forward+B-A-B-B with correct timing, but it is more reliable when used close to walls. In Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4, the timing is noticeably stricter and requires correct spacing.
    Some of these, and my own made up combos, are much more difficult to pull off due to Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3 possessing strange and dumb ending lag on moves as well as landing lag that is non-existent in any other title in the series. Ino and Sasuke are probably affected by this the worst. The CPU KNOWS THIS and it is practically signing your own death warrant if you attempt jumping to approach or avoid projectiles. They WILL take advantage of the landing lag. Absolutely hated fighting CPU Itachi with Sasuke, who isn't even a good character to use against Itachi.

    Are you gonna make combos for the EX series after GNT4 or Ultimate Ninja series? Not the storm ones.

    • @BladedStrider
      @BladedStrider  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh, I apologize for my late response. The highest I will go up to will probably be Naruto Shippuden Clash of Ninja Revolution 3, as I do not have homebrew on my Wii. It might be possible that I will be making combo video's for those, but it also might not be possible. GNT4 is a definite game that I am going to make for combo's as soon as I get the money to purchase it. Thanks for the question. :)

      Remember, almost all characters in the revolution games have infinites because of paper bomb+combo cancel

    • @BladedStrider
      @BladedStrider  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      shavingrabbid If I made a combo video with the revolution 3 characters, I probably would not include the infinite paper bomb combo as it is unprofessional. Thank's for the reminder as I forgot about the infinite combo's until I read your comment. :P

      BladedStrider Baki & Kagura have some pretty neat combos, can get up to 70+ hits I believe.

    • @BladedStrider
      @BladedStrider  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      All right. I look into that, I mostly can get them up to at least 20 before I go into their Special jutsu, but that is the highest I can go. The next combo video might not be for a while, but I'll let you know when I am working on it. :)

    So there are moves in which they leave the opponent stunned long enough to throw? I didnt know this, thanks!

    • @BladedStrider
      @BladedStrider  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, sir! When characters are in a staggering state, (A.K.A practically about to fall over) if your character can go back to their default stance before the stagger state is over, you can throw the character! Glad this video helped :)

    • @vidfreak727
      @vidfreak727 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      BladedStrider Thanks! And how do I make them go to their neutral stance?

    • @BladedStrider
      @BladedStrider  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      vidfreak727 After a second or two after you character's attack finishes, they should go back to their neutral stance, provided you don't press anymore buttons. Such as Choji's running B. he'll kick them, and the opponent will stumble, but choji will have a few seconds before he can go back into neutral stance and move/attack. This period of time between a stumble attack, and getting back into neutral stance is called "Recovery Time." Attacks that make your opponent stumble usually need a moderate amount of recovery time, meaning that most characters who have a stumble attack can grab their opponents if you dash and grab. hope this provided some useful information!! :)

    • @vidfreak727
      @vidfreak727 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You dont have to use that "Y" cancel like with Neji and Hinata? Also, can you explain how the Y cancel even works? I can't do the Neji infinite

    • @BladedStrider
      @BladedStrider  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      vidfreak727 Well, the best "Y canceling" I can describe is from the later clash of ninja games (GNT4, Revolution 1,2 and 3) where every character can Y cancel. In those games, during some attacks, You can press the Y button to go back into a neutral stance, and continue a combo. However, when you do that 25% of your chakra gauge. I have a video actually explaining Y canceling for different characters. You can find it in my older video section if you'd like to check it out. It's called "Naruto Clash of Ninja Revolution: Y canceling guide." Now, Y canceling with Neri and Hina a in Clash of ninja 1, 2 and GNT3, is a more primitive verso where the canceling takes no chakra, but usually cannot continue a combo because their recovery time takes a little bit. Their Y cancel's are best used as bait and or a counter attack. That's all I really know about Y canceling for those two. Hope it helped! :)

    Haku needle loops so hard in GNT3...

    • @BladedStrider
      @BladedStrider  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, The struggle is real. learning how to do the needle loops in CON2 and this game was pretty hard. The Haku combo I show isn't the best one, but it's the most known and probably easiest to pull off. Anyways, thanks for the comment. :)

      It's harder in 3 than it is in 1, 2, and 4. If I remember, more landing lag on the jump kunai.

    Wait how do you unlock all characters?

    • @BladedStrider
      @BladedStrider  10 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      To unlock all the fighters, you simply beat the story mode. Once that happens, you will be able to buy two characters at a time in the shop. to unlock Mizuki, Orochimaru and Itachi, more steps are needed than the other characters. I believe you have to finish the additional 7 secret story mode fights, those can be bought at the store and increase in cost by 1000 each time.
      Here is a guide I found that goes in-depth with the shop:
      www.gamefaqs.com/gamecube/922146-naruto-gekitou-ninja-taisen-3/faqs/34026
      And in case you need a translation of the story and requirements from each story battle:
      www.gamefaqs.com/gamecube/922146-naruto-gekitou-ninja-taisen-3/faqs/33528
      Hope this helped/ answered you question. :)

    How did you get this game? And did you use it on a american GameCube or how? I would like to know because I want this game too :)

    • @BladedStrider
      @BladedStrider  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      sorry for the very late reply. I bought this game on amazon for around like $30 - $40. and to be able to play it on an American gamecube, you can buy the gamecube action replay/freeloader disc. you simple start up the action replay and freeloader disc in your gamecube, select the FREELOADER option, switch the disc in your game cube to
      the imported game you want to play and then closed the cover of the gamecube and it should load.

      the actionreplay/freeloader itself is around $25 to $30. hope this helped!
