Update: The “slumbering transcendence” step has been removed. Now you get transcendence at that time and do not need to complete the steps that followed. Update #2: This is no longer the ONLY legendary amulet in the game, there is now one other, the Prismatic Champion's Regalia.
As someone who's always been afraid to run tourneys, the fact you no longer *need* to to get Transcendence is MASSIVELY appreciated. Like, don't get me wrong, I still *want* to run tourneys, mostly for the monthly unlocks you can get, but my confidence level there is nil, so just being able to make Transcendence without entering a tourney even ONCE...seriously, whoever decided to remove that step, thank you...thank you SO much! Never let it be said this game doesn't value my time. :D
@Mukluck as someone who may never get this, it was fun to see it and see all you have to do to get it. Always a fun watch Mukluk. You remain a Global Icon and Game Guru good Sir
I hate pvp, but I want legendary trinkets. Then I remembered we get a legendary amulet for completing all season of dragons achievements! I'm so excited
Finished this right before Coalescence. I was doing my weekly raid clears and once my raids would be cleared I'd just binge PvP for like 8 hrs. Finished this and Coalescence about 2-3 days appart from one another. Time to head over to the Conflux video and then eventually Vision. Only two more to go!
I've done the legendary item for this, just not the final bit which needs 20 tournament wins. My time playing is limited but I really wanted to do it, I tried two times and both times the matches were completely mismatched, one of the times my opponents had a 'God of PVP' so I just knew my team of silvers and golds (myself included) were wasting their time - think it finished 500-10 where we got a lucky cap and held it for a few seconds.
Transcendance and Ascension overlap a ton. You can earn them both close to simultaneously. Ascension is a few more ranked wins I believe, and doesn't require tournaments.
Helooo, I just discovered that the 120 victories for the emblem of victory are available by playing to the mid season after the arena season as it is considered as the same season :)
I crafted the Shortbow, I had most of the mats. This was only after playing for 3-4 months. I don't PvP so I will never get this, when I do it's unranked. I wouldn't waste my time or the other players time, trying to do ranked PvP.
It gets easier and becomes more clear once you made your first legendary. I was intimidated at first but now 2850 hours later I have made 19 legendarys!
I think my apprehension comes from the thought that I need to do it efficiently or not at all. Chipping away at it daily seems like a good idea. I’m not a good pvp player but I may try a different one
Thanks to your comment earlier in this video, I realised (I hadn't checked the wiki, dumbass move #1) that "slumbering" versions of the leggie trinkets are "no visuals". Here I was whining like a dumbass that to get those trinkets we had to put up with those silly balls (I don't like them). Thank you so much :D
Correction: There are 3 legendary rings in the game, Conflux, Slumbering Conflux and Coalescence. You don't need to raid to get 2 legendary rings (at least according to the reddits). That being said, Slumbering conflux may be less efficient depending on how your runs go for Coalescence. If you're really struggling getting specific boss kills, you can always purchase the kill, you just need the LDS. Also, if your account was created before the Key Adashim release, killing soulless horror allows you to trade LIs for LDs, so you just need ANY boss kills, doesn't have to be PoF raids. That being said, there's a cap of 168 LIs you can trade in this way per account. The wiki erroneously says any PoF boss kill unlocks this ability to trade, but i kill CA before SH and it didn't unlock until I killed SH.
I made this since I had every components seating on my bank after I came back from a year of Hiatus. I have been an Average PVP enjoyer since I started gw2 7 years ago then I discovered that there was a much more easier way and cost less which was the Return to Achievement which was not available when I was not playing.
Are you able to show both balls? Or is it one ball because it is the same animation? Just curious. You did post this 2 years ago though xD not expecting a response.

Here's the thing, you can do it over a long period of time and multiple seasons. Even if you lose 2/3 matches, you will eventually get it. Just get used to the toxicity. Besides, of you play that much, you will get better and you may see yourself winning more. For me personally, the WvW is more of a turnoff

Hey muk, since you've done alot of them. Which do you think are the easier legendaries? I just started playing again and I don't have much of anything at the moment.
Honestly every legendary felt easy but just.. time. Each one took a lot of time. You could argue that coalescence (raid legendary ring) is the hardest because you have to clear all raid bosses at least once. Chuka and Champawat (gen 2 shortbow) took me the longest, it had a very long story instead of a mountain of materials.
@@MuklukTH-cam Ah I see, I've read most people like champawat more specifically because of the story stuff. I'm barely starting my first. It is worth noting that we know nothing about the Legendary Armory. Not just when it will be released, but how it will be offered and/monetized. I see a lot of folks just assuming ANET will flip a switch and everyone will get access to their legendary items across all characters for free. There is no evidence to support this presumption. ANET could just as easily charge 500 Gems PER CHARACTER to get them access to the armory. Just something to keep in mind when encouraging players to make legendary items with the expectation they will become account wide, at no cost, once the armory is added ( if ever...see WvW Alliances)
