I have been going to Majors for over 60 years. I remember Mr. & Mrs. Major and Mr. Majors very unique sounding voice. The building was built in early 1900s. There is a model railroad club in part of the basement. Way back when there was a huge slot car track setup up stairs and also an Aurora HO scale slot car track as well.
Did I see some Frame Arms Girl kits? I've never been to a shop that carried those. I get mine from Japan. My main hobby is trains. I have several scales that I collect and I love to go on road trips to watch 'em.
Really cool looking hobby shop. Lots of old kits. I used to have one of those planes you were talking about that it was controlled on a wire that you had a handle in your hand and could make it do stunts by the movement of your wrist. Would get dizzy from going around and round tho. Lol Enjoyed the video as always. Have a great week ahead buddy and see you in the hangouts. Senior

I love train displays too. Our Union Station in Kansas City has a permanent installation. I also have a Gundam Specific shop here that carries Frame Arms Girl and Japanese pop culture stuff.
Thanks for taking us along, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It must of had that old model kit box smell as well.😊
It did have that smell, David. Took me right back to buying kits in a 5 and dime when I was a kid.

Thanks for the comment. Interesting to know some more history about the place. I saw the railroad area in the basement. Very glad I stopped in there.
Another great hobby shop tour, thanks Grady
Thanks Tom. I really appreciate the support.

I'm going to get back to one of your hangouts soon. Hope all is well with you and yours.
Cool place Grady! Love the mom and pop shops.....not many left these days
No, there's not and it's sad. I really love them too.
I’m going to have to get over there sometime. My wife is from down state IL. Maybe make a detour next time we go down. Thanks for sharing.
No problem and thanks for watching. I'll be stopping whenever I go through, just to drop some coin.
Your right! Cool and rare stuff! I was surprised to see that Salvinos JR kit too!
They really have a wide variety. I'm digging these small town shops.
Nice place 👍
Thanks for watching, Leon. I enjoyed it.
Nice! I'm in MA, I'm not aware of any hobby store near me that stocked with kits
Yep, they seem to be getting fewer and farther between.
