Thank you very much!
Ken, do every Sukeban/lost media series you can. You're pretty much the only person on TH-cam doing this kind of content.
It's incredible to think that there may be a Betamax floating around that is the key to survival for that anime but who knows where it could be... thanks for making this video, love hearing about stuff I never would have heard of otherwise!
"Evacuate the city,
Engage all defenses,
and somebody get this girl a gold coin."
-Black Panther (I think)
There is a raw torrent of the live action show.
would love a modern reboot of the anime. I wanna see that crow fight animated by bones or something.
oh boy, when this dude discovers kamen rider he's gonna have a good time
Or just the whole tokusatsu genre in general.
Or he learn old kamen rider is dark as heck
@@ashchisalleh1454 and also more boring!
Well, Showa series tends to be like that
@@arditeider2812 I don't speak weeb (anymore), what's tokusatsu?
The main character is played by Megumi Odaka the actor who played Miki Saegusa from the Heisei Godzilla films
Ok, instant sub.
Dude.. I thought I’d imagined the Sukeban anime and searched about 2 months ago to find NOTHING. Thx for clearing that up. Great review.
I vaguely remember something like this when I was in Japan then. I also remember a dancing cat named michael which nobody seems to remember...
More vids like this please. Your vids fill a niche in the anime world that makes it a shame our community has gone without it for so long. keep it up.
Honestly this shit is why I am learning Japanese XD finding shuff like this is amazing.
It's been forever since I watched any anime but I eat your content up anyhow. Well done documenting some really interesting shows. Makes me wish I could see them myself
I absolutely love Sukeban Deka and Yuki Saito. Now I have to find this somewhere.
Thank you so much Kenny Lauderdale.
For doing the research, putting int he work, and making these videos for us to learn from and enjoy.
And for trying to help stop works of art from being lost to time
It's not a big deal, don't worry about it.
I raise you Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It's very clear to see that show is an American example of this genre. It kind of blows my mind to see how much this genre has influenced the work that I adore, without knowing that this was even a thing. Sukeiban's pink hair even looks like the exact same shade as Utenas. Thank you for introducing me to these shows!
People in japan call the 70s Incredible Hulk series American Tokusatsu, so it's kind of true.
Thank you for introducing this to me. I'm in love. With you and this show. Subscribed.
Now wish for a crossover of all three series. The original x gritty remake x 2007 remake.
Seriously very good video! I'm surprise someone outside Japan even knows about this series!
Everything about this sounds awesome. I really need to watch this.
Omg. I've seen one or two clips of this online and have been wanting to see it. Thanks for showing in!
Just keep in mind it's about 70% drama. The stuff I showed is mostly the climaxes of the episodes. It ramps up a lot.
Do they have the live action tv series of Hana No Asuka-Gumi online with subs to watch anywhere?
Iirc only Sukeban Deka 1 and 2 have fansubs
I dunno about the show, but lililicious translated a couple volumes of the manga.
These videos are so awesome 🤣!! I wouldve loved these shows as a kid 😂😂😂.
TOP GOAT CONTENT DUDE! KEEP IT UP
I just watched all the videos and think i found my favourite genre on yt and media, thank you!
You watched every one of my videos? I'm honored.
