New Holland Clayson 8040

After renewing the cancave, rasp bars & a few other little jobs, I had the opertunity to put my mates classic 8040 through it's paces and make sure everything was running as it should, thouraghly enjoyable couple of hours!

Nice machine. Excuse my ignorance on New Hollands we had a Claas, but our neigbours had a Clayson 122 or a 140 (can't remember which one). Are these just an updated version of the 122? I always thought they looked a better machine than a Claas!

8040 was an upgrade to the clayson 1530, the 1520 replaced the 122, 1530 was 4 Walker machine & 6cyl engine,while the 1520 was a 4cyl with shorter straw walkers I think
