Isn't the neck PU a P90? It's called a CP90...he keeps saying there are two HBs in this model- but its called Double Agent for the simple fact that it has two types of pups- right??
I'd like to see Reverend make a Shredrend...Still a Reverend neck, Reverend playability, if you want it with a trem, you still get a Wilkenson, body still retro like that used with the Double Agent, King Built, Decent, etc... but with 24 frets, HSH...Having said that, this review of the Double Agent, like many of the Reverend guitars I've seen and heard, is another great offering from Reverend...thanks for posting this video and hope all at Guitar Interactive Magazine are doing well, as well as all that are here watching this video.
May just be camera angle but it sure looks like that neck is very crooked to the body - look at the space between the E strings and the edges of the neck - it gets wider on the treble side and narrower on the bass side. the headstock needs to move toward the floor.
I've had the natural flamed maple for a few months now. I love Reverend guitars but am disappointed with this one. It has a very slight fret sprout along the whole neck . Not the end of the world. It happens, but usually not with Reverend (in my experience). But the pickups have a lot to be desired, and don't pair well together at all (this may be the "double agent" idea behind this). Tuners are a little stiff and don't seem as good of a ratio ( but this is probably not the case). Also, the tone controls aren't as "wide range" as other Reverneds I've used. It looks great but I'm surprised they went with this for an "Anniversay" model.
This channel often has horrible tones. What's up with that? Sad, because many of the players on here often range from great to fantastic to amazing. Do you guys use an old Line 6 POD?
I dont like this presenter at all. He sounds nervous as hell and its obvious he's reading from some sort of autocue. Not impressed with this guy at all.

There are quite a few things he said about the guitar that are inaccurate. However, he can sure play the thing and he made it sound good.🤷🏾♂️
I argue if you are going to do a rear review, you should know the difference between a P90 and a humbucker. They aren't even visually similar.
I'd have to question the neck pickup being a humbucker.
Yeah he doesn't know the difference it seems. I also the think the bridge pick up is really Reverend's version of a Filtertron pick up.

Tioga Fretworks . Indeed, neck joint looks fishy. Besides that, think it's a very nice guitar. Well chosen materials. Nice wood, hardware and very interesting pickups/configuration.
