As little water as is required for these rinse less washes, I recommend just picking up 4 one gallon jugs of distilled water from the grocery store, then water quality isn't a factor. Another clean source of water I want to try is the reverse osmosis drinking water machines, they take 5 gallon jugs and should be a lot cleaner water than what comes from the tap. I've seen them at Walmart and Fred Meyer (Kroger) and the one at my Fred Meyer only cost 50 cents a gallon, $2.50 for 5 gallons.
I store it in 5 gallons for my bottles and works just fine. I have a 3 gallon pump sprayer that I keep abs in and it's fine. I try to keep it around 1.5 months but 2 months max for me though. Also, nice Mustang, glad to find another detailer Mustang owner.
Thank you. Been a ford person all my life and lived around many other mustangs. This is my first personally but will add on as time goes on. Always wanting to learn and you can only learn how to turn a wrench so many ways so detailing become a new learning experience 3 years ago. Noticed most detailers have corvettes or european cars. It's interesting
Another channel mentioned there was a difference when using different wash media.. I think he was using autofiber flip towels then switched to the big red sponge and found different products worked better or worse...I have found both products work well for my use.... I just used Hypercleans rinsless last night in my non climate controlled
A lil panel prep IPA solution works great for drying in super cold temps👍 essentially replacing the water with microfiber soaked in partial alcohol that will evaporate on its own
Wash media can definitely a change in the feeling between different wash media's. I can't use the ultra black sponge because nothing feels right when running it across the paint. It's all personal preference I guess
If I have any ONR left in my pump sprayer I empty it into the fresh solution I have in the bucket. I use a noodle mit for the wash and haven’t spotted any damage so far
Thanks for the content. I store my pre rinse in a detail keg. Would shaking the detail keg of solution be the same as giving it a gentle hand mixing in the bucket. Would shaking affect performance in your opinion? I'm using distilled water. Thanks!
Currently watching with a dried out bucket of ONR, good to know!

Distilled water is a good way to go if storing for sure. I don't see any reason for shaking it to affect performance.
Nice one do any of them leave a finish I've just bought a bottle of absolute haven't used it yet.
Not that I can tell
Does ONR leave your windshield crystal clear with no streaks?
All good. Never had an issue with streaking on the windows
Where in NY are you. I’m in Orange County.
I'm in upstate close to Rochester
The Absolute water looks dirty. I’d think you’re rubbing dirt on the car. 🤷🏽
