After its getting discontinued people got to knew its value and how much modifications can be done on it like swapping krizma 223cc engine directly on it and it was ahead of its time and still very reliable and best off roader and cheap to maintain too.

yeah exactlee, Impulse very good Bike for non maintained Indian Roads, Its Suspension setup is good enoough for two people, for Zip zap zoom at 50 kmph on rural roads, I still Ride My Impulse in City. I just modified Exhaust only. availabilty of spare parts for Impulse is a pain in ass. Overall its a good eal to have a Hero impulse
Now I am again Modifying Exhaust Muffler for Quiter and heavy thmpy sound. After that I will Change stock front chain sprocket to bigger one for more top end, relaxing engine revs for 70 kmph.

There is some humming noise from left side one mechanic says it’s clutch bell & clutch primary wheel issue & another one says it’s gear box issue and he says to swap the gearbox with some other bikes gear box swap really confused

How much will an engine rebuild cost? I'm planning on buying one since I need a mileage friendly bike and the rx 100 is no help lol
Haha i got impulse for the same reason. Most of the engines you dont need a full rebuild. Just a rebore, new valves and guides would do. Would cost anywhere between 3-6k for rebore/valves. Full rebuild would cost 10-20k

There is a juddering issue from the rear wheel when the bike is not in the perfect gear ratio. I have to shift down and then shift up.(solo and pilion) Local mechanic says it is because there is no rubber damper in the rear wheel.
Is this a common issue in impulse ? Please share your feedback
Also pls share the best engine oil for impulse.
Yes it is normal. Check your sprockets, chain, if those are in good condition, jerks are lesser. Any 10w30 engine oil is good. I prefer shell or motul.

What do you think about the xpulse 4v, is it better than impulse?
Yes alot better. It also depends on what you want to do with the bike. If you're offroading then impulse is still a better option. If you're touring then xpulse 4v is better

Good choice bro... But engine rebuild ke time upgrade kar lete 223 cc karizma ka engine parts (block,piston,valve,cams,carb etc) also the Led indicators of ktm would add a great look to it.....
There are a few 223cc impulse in india... power to weight ratio acha hota...

I would say for this price range impulse is the best. Top speed isn't great. Its 110. But cruising speed would be 90-95
@@motosoul on indian Highways 70 kmph is very good crusing speed...i have ns 200 but now days i am watching impulse video everywhere and after this monsoon season messi roads i think impulse is the best for Indian roads..

Hi bro many of them complaint regarding engine heat issue in impluse , have u face the issue, I am planning to buy xpulse what u suggest, love ur impulse.
No engine heating in hero impulse bhai but i'm told some xpulse owner's have heating issues but that would be fixable. Thank you. I would suggest you to go for xpulse if you have the budget.

Yeah its okay. I had to get a new piston. But if engine rebuild is needed then that will be expensive

Hassan Bhai mujhe v impulse lena hai but 2012/2013 model mil rha hai wo v around 30/35k and kilometer runs 50000 above is it better deal and kya iska engine showroom se service hogi ! bhai plzz rply dena mujhe yr is bike se pyar ho gya hai ab lena he hai❤️❤️

Han bhai chalega. Maine jab bike li thi toh 50k kms hogaye the aur maine piston change karaya hai. Lelo gadi agar sahi rahi toh. Aur service center pe hogi service but main bolunga bahar karalo service. Hai hi kya usme service karne. Sirf oil change karo. Aur tappet setting karana 10kms mei ek baar. Baki sab changa hi hoga

build quality of Impulse is far batter then xpulse, but on track xpulse is more stable and its engine picks the power in very low RPM.
Also Impulse seat is far comfortable then Xpulse.

You wont like X pulse Once you ride Hero Impulse, What more you can do is, You Can Fit Karizma Engine into existing Hero Impulse. That will eliminate to go for X pulse. I will do that with my Hero Impulse very soon.

Milraha hai. Agar aapke city mei nahi milraha hai toh purane air filter mei se paper nikalne ke baad sponge daldena

Its not. Most of the parts are interchangeable. Engine parts can be borrowed from unicorn or cbz extreme.
