Bruce I appreciate as an individual the time you put into this video. I just had head and cams done on my bike and this definitely helps me with the understanding on my application. Thank you

Extremely informative videos. Well explained S&S, thank you. I am looking at the S&S easy start cam for my 2013 Dyna 96". I would like a torque cam. I was wondering if the .551 would be a good choice even though it says it is a good touring bike cam? Would this cam work well in a lighter bike like my Dyna or would the .570 be a better choice? I prefer a bolt in cam only.

Hi Bruce. My Husbands S&S Engine twin cam, there is a number 227 14 where the Gasket fits on the top..... Can you or someone please please tell us what this number is for, because my husband Gasket is broken and we do not know how to find out the part number.... The engine number is RP OO378....

Best bet is to contact our tech team. www.sscycle.com/contact

That was very educational. I think I want 509 cams for my 2001 twin cam 88 engine.
I do touring with it. I spend my time in low rpms.
Will it give me better mpg than the OES 475 cams?
Or will I see reduced mpg's due to the possibility of some fuel escaping throu the exhaust, due to the overlap?

In our experience, a mild cam can see a slight increase in mpg due to the engine working more efficiently. It doesn't take as much throttle to get where you want to go.
