I have a rotary valved rotax, and beg to differ. Where you at? Id be willing to run a zr580, had a few including zr 700. And a zr580 wont pull with a 670. Not gonna happen. 580=100hp Max. 670=120 to 129hp. @@elitecystuning

i had a 98 formula Z 670 and that thing was wicked fast, it would just never grab traction, would pull the front end right up to 12 o clock like it was nothing
Nice. Had a 97, 670 back then that was dialed in and faster than it should have been. Hurt a lot of feelings with that sled. Would have loved to run it against my 04 800 but the motor in the 670 let go one too many times and was not the same.
ya our 670 has some trail porting, shaved down head for tigher squish and clutching and gearing with the 1.25 ripsaw studded she hooks and goes. its torque monster on hole shots
ya straightline performance head,y-pipe,pipe jaws can , clutching, geared for 91mph 1.5 intense track, and a suspension mod for more weight transfer that mod is the reason why its gets traction out the hole
I'm running 1.5" intense track 121 length in that video it's geared for 94Mph I moved my front skid bolt down 1" and back 1/2" and that helped alot with weight transfer but its alot more tippy when cornering but I'm careful.

no kit but got custom clutching stock clutches. primary spring is 280/460, 417 ramp, pin weight for me is 19.5g but I got trail porting, spi head, spi y-pipe, spi pipe, jaws can, vforce 3 reeds, geared for 87, 1.5 inch intense track, in secondary clutch I know I got 47/44 helix, not sure what I have for spring. my dad set it up. I also got more weight transfer from moving front suspension mount holes down an inch and back half an inch. thats everything I got. its a nice little ripper.
@@jackemms2064 didnt pick up the ski's at all. even with everything done to it besides suspension it woudnt. i had to do the suspension mod to get any weight stransfer out of it.

@@jackemms2064 my sled actually has 2-3 more lb of torque on the low end then the 600ho. but the ho has 25% more top end so they usually had a 15mph higher top speed. and depending on what suspension they have. i have sc3 if it has sc4 then it will easily pick up ski's but its all how suspension it set up.
Nice job leaving big piles of snow on a nicely groomed trail. I hit one of them once from dumb asses doing the very same thing and was thrown off my sled. Have a little respect for others using the trail’s.
@@JoshuaLemire It’s when you pin the flipper and drag race your buddy on the trail. The track spins and leaves a pile of snow and a long hole in front of it. I came upon one at night and yes I was going to fast and over driving my headlights. I was thrown from the sled at about 60 mph. The sled was heavily damaged and I was pretty bruised up. My season was over because someone decided to leave a big divot and a pile on a nicely groomed trail. I’m not angry at you personally but it’s something to think about. Have a good season.
Trails are made for driving sleds for fun. You should be paying attention when driving on trails in which case you probably wouldn’t of had that crash. It also didn’t seem like they made piles of snow.

I admit I was going a little to fast for nighttime riding and I learned my lesson so I’m just passing the info on to others so others can learn from my mistakes. Slow down and stay right.
I had a 95 Mach 1, which had 670 with factory twin pipes and 44mm roundslides...she was a screamer,had times pulled out of airbox, and Guy Paquette clutch kit and CrankShop stingers...my ears are still ringing!!😂
But it didn't win most of the races there I saw.......it won one though there may be more. But in the last half they raced some more and the 500 ss beat it handily.

I had a 99 formula z 670 and I swear it had more balls then my 2000 formula z 700. The 670 was a sweet engine.

ive got a 600ho the same year it the front end barely comes up, i dont thing its because of the gearing
