How surprised was I to see myself in todays VLOG. I watch your VLOG most days while I am on the treadmill at 6 AM EST. At the 9 minute mark I look up and realize that I'm staring at myself running the half marathon being interviewed by Tyler and practically fell off the treadmill. I never realized that Tyler was asking me questions as he was running next to me for the Seth James DeMoor VLOG. How surprised was I. I had a great laugh at myself. I was very honored to be included and I am very thankful for your involvement with my running and somewhat my life. You have provided me inspiration to lead a positive grateful life and to lead by example. I so enjoyed rooting runners on during Sundays race, which is clearly something you do. I loved the unedited blog! I am running the 30k Around the Bay here in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada at the end of March. It is the oldest road race on the Continent. Two years older than Boston Marathon.
Will be running the Frederick (Maryland) half marathon on May 1 and then the Cleveland Marathon on May 22. At 71, I'm finding it harder and harder to train through the winter months here in the mountains of western Maryland (Cumberland). You do a great job and I really enjoy your posts. Congrats on Gasparilla, that's one down and one to go!

At 44, after 7 training blocks over the last 2 years, 90 runs building mileage the last 11 weeks, and 2 weeks at all-time peak mileage of 65 MPW, I started my taper yesterday into my first in-person race since being a HS sophomore in 1992. It’s a 5 mile road race called the Bock Run in Stevens Point WI. I ran a 5k PR of 20:37 (6:38) last spring and last fall I closed the last 5 miles of my 1/2 marathon time trial in 34:13 (6:50 pace). My goal is to run sub 33:30 (6:42 pace). Thanks for the continued inspiration DGR.
Great Race of Agoura, half marathon trail race outside of Los Angeles in April. Raced in the Griffith Park half marathon a few weeks ago as a tune up. Glad to be back at it!
QD: if I don’t work, my next race will be the Starved Rock Marathon at Starved Rock State Park in Utica,Illinois in the middle of May. I’ll be doing the half marathon. It’s a very fun race with lots of hills and some ice cold beer at the finish. I’ve got a few smaller 5k races sprinkled in there between now and then. I’m part of the starved rock runners club. So I like to hit as many of the races on our yearly circuit as possible,for points at the end of the year. Awesome job Seth! Keep it up!!

QD: hopefully my next race is the DGR distance classic. If not, maybe St. Petersburg Run Fest this fall, and Gasparilla next year. Tampa welcomes you back any time. Unfortunately, 2 days later, we had perfect weather for a race by Florida standards. Today was much drier and cooler than race day. We have so many races during the winter here. St. Pete Run Fest, Clearwater half marathon (Kofuzi ran that one a few weeks ago), Marathon Mania, Gasparilla. So many good ones. I think a goal of yours should be a RunDisney event in Orlando. You run through the parks. It’s awesome.

QD: I’m shooting for a sub 3 hour Marathon(Boston Qualifier) in Brooklyn on April 24th. It will be my first attempt at a marathon. I haven’t run competitively since I was 17, I’ll be 22 at the time of my race. The longest distance I’ve ever competed in was the 5K so this will be very interesting to say the least.
Nice Vlog, coach! QOD: I haven't raced a Half-Marathon in over nine years, but I'm looking to give-it-a-go later this spring. I probably should do more pre-hab, Coach, though long work-hours have been taking a lot out of me. I started training again about the time I started watching your vlog in 2020. I still have some long-standing injuries to work through; occasionally achilles tenderness crops up, I think partly as a result of a foot-sprain I've had for years that I can't seem to completely shake. (I also partially tore that achilles several years ago.) Now then, after taking a short break, with some great weather on the way, it is time to 'turn that doorknob'. Onward and upward!
I love watching your races, Seth! I ran my second ever marathon Sunday at Cowtown in Fort Worth. I ran less than 3 months ago and cramped like crazy the last 13 miles. It was terrible. But not this time!! 3:15:45 at 47 years old!!! Marathon 2 is officially a BQ!!! Cowtown was glorious!
QD: My next race will be the Boston Marathon! It will be my first Boston ever! I worked so hard to qualify. Approaching Boston keeps me feeling like on cloud 9. Ready to butter that bread in Boston. Congratulations on the W!

Tampa welcomes you back any time. Unfortunately, 2 days later, we had perfect weather for a race by Florida standards. Today was much drier and cooler than race day. We have so many races during the winter here. St. Pete Run Fest, Clearwater half marathon (Kofuzi ran that one a few weeks ago), Marathon Mania, Gasparilla. So many good ones. I think a goal of yours should be a RunDisney event in Orlando. You run through the parks. It’s awesome.

QD: I’m shooting for a sub 3 hour Marathon(Boston Qualifier) in Brooklyn on April 24th. It will be my first attempt at a marathon. I haven’t run competitively since I was 17, I’ll be 22 at the time of my race. The longest distance I’ve ever competed in was the 5K so this will be very interesting to say the least.

QOD: I haven't raced a Half-Marathon in over nine years, but I'm looking to give-it-a-go later this spring. I probably should do more pre-hab, Coach, though long work-hours have been taking a lot out of me. I started training again about the time I started watching your vlog in 2020. I still have some long-standing injuries to work through; occasionally achilles tenderness crops up, I think partly as a result of a foot-sprain I've had for years that I can't seem to completely shake. (I also partially tore that achilles several years ago.)
Now then, after taking a short break, with some great weather on the way, it is time to 'turn that doorknob'. Onward and upward!
I love watching your races, Seth! I ran my second ever marathon Sunday at Cowtown in Fort Worth. I ran less than 3 months ago and cramped like crazy the last 13 miles. It was terrible. But not this time!! 3:15:45 at 47 years old!!! Marathon 2 is officially a BQ!!! Cowtown was glorious!
QD: My next race will be the Boston Marathon! It will be my first Boston ever! I worked so hard to qualify. Approaching Boston keeps me feeling like on cloud 9. Ready to butter that bread in Boston. Congratulations on the W!

QD: My next race is this coming Saturday at the Chattahoochee Road Race in Georgia! I’m racing the 5k and have been training solo for the last 7 months to get in shape to tryout to be a walk-on for the Georgia Tech cross country team. Hoping to crush 16 minutes this weekend!

QOD: After a 2 year break from running I’m making a comeback at my local half marathon in Newcastle Australia 🇦🇺 This will be my first ever road race, I’m looking at setting a lot of PR’s this year while these 43 year old legs still have it.
